Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Just as Sarah Palin was preparing to speak at the Republican convention in St. Paul (more on that momentarily), word bubbled up that the National Enquirer alleged in its print edition that John McCain's running mate had an affair with a business partner to her husband

/So seepy now. Exiting DR now, as a tater do,
stage left.

I don't believe this anymore than I believed the Enquirer's initial report on Edwards. The Enquirer got it right on Edwards but they still have a long way to go before they earn any credibility.

Mainstream media has no business touching this unless they can uncover some credible evidence.

I second that motion.

As I recall, there were plenty of folks here clammoring for Edwards to respond forthrightly to the Enquirer story about him.

If that was good enough for John Edwards, it's good enough for Sarah Palin.

"But the Edwards reporting complicates matters. Just one month ago, conservatives were bemoaning the fact that no major media outlets had the temerity to follow the politically and personally sensitive rumors about the former North Carolina senator's infidelities.

So my question now is: IF this is true, can anyone then figure out who the real biological dad of Trig is?

If this was someone on the left, the religious righties would say that the Downs syndrome baby was a punishment by you know who.

This country (many of the people in it) has gone into a sh**hole.
