Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

There are more female governors in office than ever before, and they are making their mark with a pragmatic, postpartisan approach to solving state problems.

That was when she was no threat. She's shaken up this election in ways I can't recall a VP doing. Concerns conservatives might have had about Big John have diminished and, who knows, Palin might help pick off some of those blue collar Dems... the shot and beer, tough on crime/national defense, working class family sorts who attend church, etc.

Those folks relate far more to a Palin than to an Obama on multiple levels in my view.

Anyone in office for a few months in the Alaskan Gov's office would look good compared to the stink that VESA and Ted Stevens created.

I know, but she's 'prolife' so none of the other plentiful and inconvenient inconsistencies about her bio matter.....

AU-
Should being pro-life disqualify one from being VP? Or how about Senate Majority Leader?

Of course not. But it shouldn't be all you have to run on in reality.

What about the 99.99999999999% of issues the GOP doesn't want to run on but concern Americans the most?

OOHRAH

And when she slashes funding for a home for unwed teen moms that provided job training and classes in motherhood I think my point is very well made over the discussion we've been having for awhile about the vast disparity between those who'd end abortions and their actions in how they treat them once they're born.

Oohrah,

I certainly agree.

That said, she needs to clearly demonstrate that she's not just a female Ted Nugent.

She needs to come accross as a serious candidate and she needs to demonstrate a firm knowledge of the issues. Furthermore, she needs to make no apologies for who she is.

Hopefully, she succeeds.

Time will tell.

Palin Slashed Funding for Teen Moms

OOHRAH,

THIS is the hypocracy I'm talking about.

A 'prolife' person who pulls the rug out from under the very women who HAD the babies. All while she sent a billion in oil royalties to the Alaskan public and funded pet projects for cronies.

End THIS kind of two faced BS and public opinion might start to shift.

Palin Slashed Funding for Teen Moms

Palin is right in line with the reporighties and doing everything they can in creating as much poverty as possible in this country.

Force the child to have the baby and then make sure they live a life of pain, suffering, and regret all the while callin em lazy bitches.
