If you believe that global warming is a serious issue that is caused by man, AND that Barack will actually do anything about it--you weren't going to vote for McCain anyway.

Barack Obama promised to use alternative fuels to replace $800 billion of annual crude exports, all while not building nuclear or coal plants. He also promises 5 million new jobs, or a tripling of energy jobs in the US, without increasing oil production. As with most pols who are heavy on rhetoric but light on details, he offers no real ideas on how he hopes to accomplish this.

But if this election turns on energy prices, and the availability of it--the Dems will lose. And if they don't, oil prices have only one way to go. Up. WAY up. Between punitive taxes on oil exploration and development, shutting down additional areas to drilling, and steadily increasing demand, I hope Obama voters didn't mind $4 gasoline, and are looking forward to paying much more. Because they will.

Which is fine with me. I hate traffic. And Obama voters deserve to live with the consequences of their vote, every time they fill up.
