Obviously, it's a popular topic on blogs. According to the Reuters link Ness posted, Palin mentioned it to squash rumors about it.

This election and the primaries have had more than their fair share of juicy tidbits about the candidates. Lohan should be addressing the audience who craves it and create the untrue rumors instead of faulting the candidates for trying to stop them.

But in posting her blog, she is just adding more attention to it which I'm sure is lost on Lohan.

Lip, my only take on this is that she is playing the game of "You know, Palin's daughter is pregnant and here are the details for your purient enjoyment, and I'm even going to put a picture of the daughter on the front page of my newspaper, above the fold, but please be advised that we are NOT talking about it. I applaud Obama's quick request that the daughter's situation is off-limits, but large portions of his supporters continue to trumpet the situation, so either they don't respect Obama's wishes enough to abide by them, or Obama is talking out of both sides of his mouth.
