Oh, a threat. Now that's going to cow voters. And a threat from a black woman.
Why doesn't Michelle repeat the threat? Why doesn't Barack repeat the threat? Then the threat would have more cachet, and certainly compel white voters to subordinate themselves to the black Obamas to avoid a race war threatened by blacks.
But that's been Obama's spiel for years. He has muted it and tried to make believe that it never was his "story."
Maybe certain urban areas should be ceded to black folk. Then they can upgrade their situation just like the Zimbabweans did, when freed of the white "yoke of oppression."
Let's see, Ms Ali lives in Philadelphia so that should be one of the city-states in the black paradise. Add New Orleans. St. Louis. Detroit, South Chicago. There are more. What will their product be? How will they sustain themselves? Keep in mind that in times of trouble, foreign aid may be limited. Maybe Rwanda and Mali and other such countries will be able to provide succor. Oh, and the welfare programs will be funded by people in your city-states, not the outside communities.
Somehow I find such a "threat," the proposition itself, to be offensive. It certainly delineates the black community in terms of "separatism," which is what Rev. Wright and Minister Farrakhan, Obama associates, preached. That seems to be Obama's bag. I wonder at the temerity of Ms Ali. By the way with her Islamic name, I wonder if she is also a Black Muslim, and a member of Minister Farrakhan's Nation of Islam?
I am quivering at the prospect of "a race war" that is threatened. Quiver. Quiver. I suppose that it's time to prepare, lay in stores, and rearm myself since I haven't had any arms in my house in years, not with the kids. But heck. If war is coming, it is prudent to be prepared. We have a store of food for emergencies already, one year's supply. Now to lay in weapons. No more driving golf balls. With this state of emergency, it's down to the shooting range. And take the kids. It'll be just like the old Wild West, where the people were prepared to fend off Indians on the prowl.
Remember when evaluating this, that the scenario was proposed by a leftist.
