*1st* Lady...

I'm glad Gail's alright...

I guess big government couldn't protect her while she was riding on the road.

"Ramsburg says she doesn't know whether the driver was cited. Police did not immediately return a telephone message for comment."

Of course not, they're still waterboarding the driver. Its not torture you know.

Glad to hear she's okay...

Also glad she's not running for VP of the GOP ticket... if she were, RCade would be posting threads about how this was good for America.

You know why this happened? God hates her because her husbands a democrat.

The driver was probably aiming for the governor.

If this was Edwards wife, you can be sure he planned it.

Apparently Robert 'no Sack' Novak is on the roads again!

.......they should just let the secret service drive Laura Bush around........I mean they don't charge cab fare or anything, do they ?.......

This was a basic accident of car meets bicycle. Still it demonstrates that bicycling needs to be made a whole lot safer. More separation between bike lanes and traffic is a must.

Has anyone considered this might have been an assassination attempt by the GOP? Manchin fairly well known and is growing his influence nationally. He's a frontrunner to replace Senator Byrd...

LOL, only you. Why'd you change your name, BuffaloBob?

Luckily for her she was wearing headgear:

Depending on her husband's political affiliation, this is either a good or a bad thing.
