Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Eleven decapitated bodies have been found outside the city of Merida on the Yucatan peninsula, heightening fears that Mexico's recent descent into violence has reached even heavily protected tourist areas.

Bienvidos amigos.

This show is entering the U.S. big time. Even now the advance men are doing their preparatory work.

The gangs are here and in the drug distribution business, and the battles over the territories are hard-fought. So much money makes corruption an inevitable adjunct.

Our only salvation from descent into third-word status is ruthless deportation of all illegal immigrants and their children, eliminating by court decision the doctrine of jus soli, which was imposed by court decisions that can be distinguished, and employing jus sanguinis as our rule for citizenship and residency.

It's time to bite the bullet.

Oh, oh. Bienvenidos. Welcome. Welcome friends.

This show is entering the U.S. big time.

There's a flaw in your logic, sir.

There is no US. You are talking about the North American Union. See, it's already inside that, so it can't enter where it already is.

Time to update your lexicon. And don't try blaming it on republicans or democrats. They all agree.

legalize weed.

Mexico is in the midst of a Drug War. And it is not the phony type, like GWB's so called War on terror. This is the real thing. Soldiers, police, narcotrafficos, and the civilian society which gets in the way, all are being killed. Mexico is finding that as a society it will soon have to make a stand to determine whether it wants to be run by a narco-government, or not.
When I was in Culiacan last April there were billboards on the major roadways stating, "Imagine this city without narco-violence". That is how bad it has gotten.

What's with the Mexican drug cartels always decapitating everyone?
A third world sense of brutality and a narco nation of corruption and crime that's now being brought into the U.S. as they literally own some towns and city council member in California all paid for with drug money. Mexican and El Salvadoran drug cartels come here illegally use our beloved national parks to grow and hide their marijuana and even desecrated beautiful Yosemite National Park with their crappy gang grafitti all over the landscape. They are turning my state into the same kind of garbage dump they came from. BUILD THE FENCE!

If it wasn't for the stupido Norteamericanos who want to spend so much money smoking the fumaras this would not be happening in either country.

I just want to see the blame apportioned out.

Right now, we have a federal government bogged down in Iraq trying to tell them how to run their business and we can't even defend ourselves.

SHOOT DEAD the next 100 people crossing that border illegally and then BUILD THE FENCE.

Anyone who uses illegal drugs is responsible for these deaths.

Come and visit Cleveland instead!

Put your bong down.

The War on Drugs is good for the DEA, the prison Industry, local police, the CIA, Nancy and other opportunistic politicians.

But a crime against a Free People.

Weird shit eventually happens when you make plants illegal.

Corporate America and their multitude of shills (both Democrat and Republican) in Washington D.C. wants everybody to believe that but the U.S. citizenry knows better. The U.S. should learn the lessons of the European Union that placing your economy, cultural mores and self-identity at the mercy of other countries is not the way to go.

Johnson is correct illegals must be deported without any right to challenge their deportation. The abuse of the intended purpose of the 14th Amendment by illegals who are using their children as anchor babies must be stopped. This Trojan horse must be stopped and dismantled before it is too late.

I agree with you phiosophically but what cha think would happen economically if you deported all the illegals? remember we only have 5% unemployment with them here.

Wages go up, unemployment goes below 4%, schools and prisons are less crowded, fast food joints close down (big deal their food sucks)....

Learning the lesson of the European Union? You mean, the same group that gave you the Euro? What a clown. Check the exchange rate and get back to me, drunky.

I agree with you phiosophically but what cha think would happen economically if you deported all the illegals? remember we only have 5% unemployment with them here.

Los Angeles (illegal alien capital of the USA) now has over a 7% unemployment rate due to the fact most illegals are employed in construction and some other related fields and cause the unemployment rate to go higher here in my city.

Also, you think the illegals are keeping the unemployment numbers down? Think again. First of all your 5% unemployment rate came from the Bush Admininstration and is not accurate.

Also, look at the large raid last week when ICE went in and picked up hundreds of illegals. Know what happened immediately afterwards? HUNDREDS of U.S. citizens showed up at the plant's door in the following days all looking to replace the illegals in their jobs. The U.S. citizens who were interviewed said they had not been able to find work -- including some who had sought work at that very plant. So spare me the "who will pick your lettuce" crap. btw -- only 3% of the 20 plus million illegals in this country are working in agriculture. The rest have jobs in construction, the service and retail industry, and many other jobs where they have kept wages stagnant for U.S. citizens who used to have those jobs.

Jomama so what about the exchange rate when they use the EU to interfere with a country's personal domestic issues? What are you a NWO promoter?

Simple..... Do not go to Mexico for vacation. Ever!

While I wouldn't say the Coachella Valley here in California is 'overrun', I would say that after some initial progress the problem is getting out of hand again.

We have two problems.

The first is a 'justice' system that just slaps violent offenders on the wrist and turns them loose to do further harm, or releases them pending a trial that will take over a year to hold. If we can't hold all of the violent offenders we catch, perhaps we should seriously consider EXECUTING a lot more of them.

The second problem is an INVASION of 'ILLEGAL COMBATANTS' using REFUGEES as HUMAN SHIELDS.

This begs for a MILITARY solution.

As for staying out of Mexico, it's hard to do that when the 'overflow' of this drug war marches across our borders (or rides in the trunks of coyotes' cars) without any resistance. When the heat gets too hot at home, Mexican criminals scoot right across the border and make themselves at home HERE, and then (as if it's a big surprise) they fall right back into the same patterns that got them in trouble in Mexico.

Let's see how eager they are to cross when they're met by 30mm fire from a gunship a few times, and word from the survivors spreads. We won't need a thousand miles of useless fence that couldn't keep a hamster out. Just use the national guard to defend the nation, and idiots willing to try an illegal crossing will be very few and far between.

Then we REALLY need to find out who's paroling all these assholes and chop off HIS head.

If we don't put troops on our border with Mexico, we are stupid. That place has been festering for several years now and it is getting worse.

I agree with you phiosophically but what cha think would happen economically if you deported all the illegals? remember we only have 5% unemployment with them here.

It would be the best thing that ever happened to our economy. Please remember how much they cost out healthcare, social services, and prisons, not to mention all the crime they do here in the states. We can't afford them.

heres one huge reason to lock down our border with mexico
and i think ill risk losing my shirt in vegas rather than
my head in cancun.

BUILD THE FENCE NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I merely pointed out the EU has hardly been a failure, I didn't say I agreed with all their policies. Look before you leap to conclusions.

When you stop the activity of people who have NO other way to make money for their families (the lower end of this trade) without first creating some other type of job, you develop problems to large to handle adequately!

This is what's currently happening, under this crime wave, and will continue to happen, until the Mexican Government gets smart! They have a plan, possibly to legalize most limited quantities of drugs, thereby reducing some prices locally.

Yes Bernard, the drug problem, in MEXICO, is FAR worse than the United States! Drugs AND AIDS are epidemic here, and few IN CHARGE are capable of doing anything about it, or feel, if ignored, will just go away, because they have their hands inside THAT cookie jar, MONET POT, to far to release their grip successfully!

Legalize it ALL, register addicts in the state, allowing them to go to clinics for shots, stamping travel vouchers for authorized use of out of state clinics, while on vacations, doses adequate to the amount necessary per individual. Sell marijuana cigarettes, by ten pack, through a State run store, similar to the state liquor stores in Washington State, taxing them adequately.

Limit the prices to cost of materials, plus office fees, (say $25 - 30, $5 - 10 for the product), the rest for the fee for H or Coke, and say $10 for the reefers, tax (Federal and State) included. Supervision required at all times!

This would reduce the amount of DEA and other drug agents utilized in this arena to that needed to hunt down and arrest true criminals, and further reduce funding at the State and Federal level! In the United States, Mexico AND around the world would allow for the expansion of several recovery programs AND needed additional projects!

Simplistic, but would be effective in reducing these heinous crimes!

"When you stop the activity of people who have NO other way to make money for their families (the lower end of this trade) without first creating some other type of job, you develop problems to large to handle adequately!"

WTF are you talking about? Look at all the factories we fired every American worker from so we could move those jobs to Mexico! We have people here who used to have good jobs working in factories of all kinds who are stocking shelves at Walmart or flipping burgers to support their families.

Look at the highways here where uninspected Mexican trucks with illegal retreads are leaving dangerous debris all over the place to KILL people.

Mexico has too many poor, uneducated bodies because they believe BIRTH CONTROL is a deadly sin, and know that they can always export their excess in dirt-poor, uneducated people and criminals HERE to receive free welfare, medical treatment, etc. as well as soft beds in prisons that are arguably much nicer than living in Mexico's slums.
