Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

There's no room at the Xcel Energy Center for maverick Ron Paul, so his acolytes have packed their cars, hitched rides on "Ronvoys" and will pitch tents at Ronstock '08 in defiance of next week's GOP convention in St. Paul, Minn.

I think Cindi and Sarah should fly over and flash them, just to make them feel important.

NOW yer talkin!

Sarah, YES, Cindi, not so much.

Sarah is a fine looking woman but she's killed moose that look better than Cindi.

But, but - the GOP wants maverick reformers! That's why McCain picked Palin!

Ron Paul. pfft. What a joke. As dumb as a bag of nails. Everyone knows Americans always pick the smartest guy for Prez, that's how Bush got the job.

They can ignore Paul and Barr all they want but the votes the both skim from McCain may be enough to put Obama over the top.
They (Republicans) get to feel the Ralph Nader effect for once.

In related news, the GOP is also planning to ignore chupacabres, trolls and the Loch Ness monster, known affectionately as "Nessie."

Pissing off Paul fans is a DUMB move in a close election.

Last time I checked, RP was a GOPher. If the GOP wants to alienate some subset of their constituency that is fine by me.

They (Republicans) get to feel the Ralph Nader effect for once.

...actually it's called the "Perot Effect" and the Republicans DID feel it first.

sohe if you want to be a repulsican just do it and quit making your childish rants on this blog. If you want to grow a brain and vote like a responsible adult choose Obama. The only people who would Vote Mcsame are either corrupt or incompetent which one are you?

Hey Rasta. Seriously. If you want to make comments about the intellect and maturity of other posters, please take a few moments to learn to spell, use punctuation, proper grammar and find the shift key.

Nobody is demanding perfection.. but your posts pretty much retort themselves.

Hey, serious question here:

Are any of the Drudge lefties besides me beginning to get the feeling Rasta is actually a GOP-supporter using a sockpuppet to make Democrats look stupid?

Sohe I think you make yourself look stupid by speaking ill of Obama. I think you need to understand that I am a militant Dem who will do whatever it takes to ensure Obama rules the free world.

That ALMOST made sense. Good work, Rasta. Keep plugging along and you'll be operating at High School literacy levels.

Then after that you might be able to stretch your mighty intellect to see the irony in the phrase "rules the free world". Then, as you advance even FURTHER in intellect and argument capability, you might begin to see the utter hypocrisy of someone saying "You make yourself look stupid by speaking ill of Obama" is, on another thread, saying that they hope some dirty lie about the opposition is true.

But frankly, I just don't believe your average Obama supporter is as ill-thought and spoken as you. I really do believe you're just a parody of an Obama supporter thought up by someone like Takitez to make Democrats look stupid. I can't believe you're the rank and file Obama supporter. They are generally a lot smarter then you're passing yourself off as.

At least, I hope you're just a parody. Because if you really DO represent the rank and file Obama supporter; then it just reinforces my political doubts. When I'm becoming afraid that the Democrats are just as evil and stupid as the Republicans are, people like you only make that fear greater.

Pigs and humans, man. Pigs and humans.

Yay forgotten words!

"who is, on another thread" not just "is, on another thread." See? Nobody's expecting perfection, not even out of themselves. But we do expect coherent thought processes that go beyond "Gronk want own guy 2 win! All who not want Gronk guy two win are stupid and dumb and not smart like Gronk"

...actually it's called the "Perot Effect" and the Republicans DID feel it first.

ShoeInMouth is an idiot.

The first 'Nader Effect' of the modern era was Roosevelt's Progressive Party. In 1912 it siphoned off enough Republican votes to put Wilson into office.

Thus assuring us of another horrific war under a Democrat

Sohe do something useful with yourself

Go here and train for several years and maybe you can have the honor of me calling you a real man.

Ohh BJJ a real man's sport all that rolling around on the mat hugging.

Yeah the Republicans screwed the pooch on this one. Do you really want to chase out a guy who can raise millions in a day a guy who drew 6% pretty consistantly and in less croweded contest drew 15%? Those are the republicans who will go across the aisle in a heart beat. In a close election 6% is big hunk of votes.

Oh well I guess we are stuck with McSix and Ohalfdozen.

This is how real candidates of change get treated.

No matter what the establishment politicians tell you about reforming government, the major trend is towards totalitarianism. Follow the trend.

Thank you for brightening my day with your testosterone. You make me laugh.

Paul does not offer enough goodies for lobbyists and contributors, so he is irrelevant.

Business as usual for both parties. More government, more spending, more debt, more incompetence, more excuses for failure.

Thus assuring us of another horrific war under a Democrat

Don't you mean another victorious war, Vernon-the GOPpers haven't won a war since the Civil War. And they were only fighting inbred southerners.

Pissing off Paul fans is a DUMB move in a close election.

Ha.

You really are just a parody. If not, you're every level of idiot in the book.

Sniper, RP was a candidate that would have probably made me vote Republican. I don't think his appeal was to the fringe, rather, to the middle.

That's a FACT! I would vote for him i thought I wasn't just throwing my vote away.

He has two qualities that almost guarantee that he (or anyone like him) will never be elected potus.

1. he's very very smart.

2. he doesn't tow any party line.

Except for his stance on abortion, I'd say the same. My problem with him is my same problem with Palin. They both seem otherwise sane, even passionate and beneficial. If there were a Democratic congress assured and no Supreme Court retirements likely, I'd not mind at all seeing RP up there.

RP needed to bankrupt a fishing village and have a skank teenage daughter to be a seriuos GOP contender.

Tits would have helped too.

"RP was a GOPher."

Only in name.

Ron Paul is a Libertarian and has made no secret of that.

This country (unfortunately) will never be able to embrace Libertarian ideals.

Being American is beyond the grasp of most Americans.

And you are much the fool as they who are going to vote for McCain.

In my Most Humble Opinion, of course.

How sickeningly apt. Should we laugh or cry at the tragedy of it all?
