Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

President Bush has long prided himself on his close personal relationships with foreign leaders, speaking of how he "looked into the eyes" of leaders Vladimir Putin of Russia and Pervez Musharraf of Pakistan. Over the last several weeks some of those relationships appear to have gone disastrously awry.

I trust everyone.... To do what is in their best interest.

Our tendency is to project ourselves onto other people. If we are trustworthy and keep our word, we tend to expect others to do the same and vice-versa.

We all probably have instances where we have done so to our detriment.

Glad you're paying your taxes as you are supposed to... good citizen.

It's interesting how people figure that after 8 disastrous years of Bush, if a candidate comes along that seems more competent and perhaps even inspires a bit, that his supporters are therefore "worshippers." Well, enough of you 'Tards worshipped the brickhead we have in the WH now, and based on my recollection of the '00 and '04 campaigns, "worship" is pretty accurate as a descriptor. Of course, now, now you all are pretty much disowning him, like a retarded child that embarrasses you at dinner parties and must be hidden away.

Sure RCADE, Bush should be able to control the geopolitical landscape of every country in the world, especially in regions as unstable as Pakistan and Russia.
Let's get your Obama guy on there instead -I am sure he can do much better at telling these leaders exactly how to behave and how to manage world events.

This thread gets an EXTRANEOUS flag

Bush is in no position to be judging anyone else's character. Sending Americans to war without bothering to formulate a comprehensive plan proves he is scum.

Now someone can boo-hoo that I'm "whining" about Bush tossing American lives away because he can't be bothered to do his job with minimal competence.

Let's get your Obama guy on there instead -I am sure he can do much better at telling these leaders exactly how to behave and how to manage world events.

Well one thing is for sure he can check their tire pressure and maybe Al Gore can help, meanwhile Nancy Pelosi is trying to save the entire planet, sounds like the super heroes in comic books.

Hey Rcade your Post is a bomb, but you already knew that, I suggest you run along and check the pressure in your car tires for the sake of your Hero.

It would be more fun to know what Putin and Musharraf were thinking about him while Bush was looking deep into their eyes.

Funny that the only compl;aint you've got about Obama is that some supporters may feel he's too competent, I'm pretty sure McCain doesn't have that problem.

P.S. you debate like a thrid grader.

"Several weeks some of those relationships appear to have gone disastrously awry."

Yes, when you poke a bear with a stick sometimes they do rear up and get angry.
I wonder how nice Dumbya would be if Putin were placing missiles in Cuba???
I wonder how nice Dumbya would be if Putin encouraged Mexico to invade Texas and kill 1500 people???

Bush is purposefully trying to antagonize Russia for political purposes and most of us know it but some are too partisan to admit it.

This post appears to have struck a nerve. Take it up with the Christian Science Monitor.

It's interesting how people figure that after 8 disastrous years of Bush, if a candidate comes along that seems more competent and perhaps even inspires a bit, that his supporters are therefore "worshippers."

Especially when it comes from people who touted the godliness of President Bush for years as a reason to support him and believe in his character judgments. The guy doesn't even attend services regularly.

Hey Danni,
You should check your tire pressure as well...

Bribery has no legs.

John McCain wants us to check tire pressures in Iraq for 100 years!

You did a heck of a job, Mushie!

Last night on Chris Matthews he had a good segment with two former Republicans who are voting for Obama. Bush's foreign policy and disastrous invasions were two of the issues they cited for their inability to vote for McBush. Both said that in November the number of Republicans and independents (who were formerly Republicans) is going to surprise many people. Moderate Republicans are deserting McCain in droves. Only the extreme right wingers will be supporting Bush's third term.

That's OK Obama will have much better relations with foreign leaders he will save the planet along with Nancy Pelosie, Al Gore, and other various Super Heroes.

You should check your tire pressure as well...

When Obama mentioned the willfull ignorance among Republicans, I think he was talking about ataxpayer.

You know what, keep it up, repeat that line to everyone you know. It's not like you're going to convince anyone but Bush supporters with lines like that. And independents will see that Republicans will out of spite reject even universally accepted good ideas.

Please, talk about tire gages all the way to Nov, thank you.

Well, there is one thing to be said about Ataxpayer, he is the yappiest little ankle biting one note Jonny we've had at Drudgeretort since Niceville.

Question is, does he have any good muffun recepies?

And that's why Saddleback was a stealth win for Obama. The GOP is running around cheering that their boy won the home crowd. Yes, he won the saddleback crowd, but not the TV audience. Obama was speaking to America, McCain spoke to his base.

McCain confirmed the worst fears of undecided voters and moderate Republicans. And the more he shores up his base, the more he concedes the middle to Obama.

Norm have you been drinking the kool aid yet again ? The man has no experience and the tire gage escapade only proves his lack of understanding. Democrats will vote for Obama simply because he is a Democrat. The old saying yellow dog democrat means if an old yellow dog is in the running Demo's will vote a straight ticket right down party lines.

NORM they can say whatever they want about Saddleback but I think that it put the "Obama is a Muslim" lie to rest officially.

"The guy doesn't even attend services regularly."

So what if he did? That would make him a good person? By his actions he's as big a dirtbag as any felon.

Maybe Russia overreacted a little, but Georgia started shit with them... they messed with the bull...

If Montreal attacked us we would fucking annihilate them, even if Tony Blair was across the ocean saying "Stop!"

yer an idiot...

checking your tire pressure is the LEAST we can do friend.

How's that stock of duct tape and plastic coming? I believe that was this Presidents advice on how to help out in the War on Terror.

Oh yeah. that and keep shopping.

How's THAT plan working for you?

Meanwhile Obama continues to be perfect in every way, checking tire pressure everywhere he campaigns. So far according to this dismal propaganda site Obama is still sh!ting ice cream wherever he goes, and all the liberal faggies are eating it up as fast as they can. After all Obama is the second coming of Christ, we must all bow before him and worship him.

Posted by ATaxpayer at 2008-08-20 08:55 AM |

Try and spin it anyway you can asswipe !!

George W. Bush is the biggest piece of useless shit this country has ever had for a President.

The man has no experience and the tire gage escapade only proves his lack of understanding.

No, it proves your willfull ignorance. Do you even know the tire gauge story, or are you just parroting a talking point?

Obama was asked at a town hall by an average citizen what he, as an individual, could do to reduce his energy costs. And Obama said that an individual self-reliant action would be to check your tire pressure, because that can increase fuel efficiency 2-3%.

So let's get to the bottom of this, ataxpayer. Are you in favor of big government having all the solutions? Because a citizen asked what he could do to help himself, and Obama gave him an answer - a simple, fast, cheap thing that individuals can do for themselves.

Tell me exactly what you hate about that? If you reject grass roots solutions, then what? You want Obama to propose a new multi-billion dollar program paid for with your tax dollars? You really want to pay more taxes?

Boner Boy that is the lamest come back I have seen in a very long time. You are a yellow dog Demo pumped up on the Demo kool aid as well. I am sure your hero must have cemented many overseas aliases with foreign leaders during his propaganda wing ding tour of the middle east. Oh and one more thing I forgot, You're an idiot !!!!

No I expected more from a Presidential candidate than how to inflate car tires. As for solutions that has to be grass roots and common sense embracing all forms of energy wind, solar, nuclear, drilling, whatever works period. The problem is convincing our representatives like Nancy Pelosie that they work for the American people not the other way around.

ataxpayer:

It must be difficult, lugging around that giant brain of yours. And what a burden it must be, knowing that no matter how many reasonable arguments people present against you, you will always be right. Because those damned liberals are hopped up on Kool-aid and sniffing paint. How dare they get excited about a politician who, for a change, is making reasonable arguments about developing alternative energy sources, improving the healthcare system, and shifting the focus of the War on Terror to maybe make it more effective?

HOW DARE THEY

"No I expected more from a Presidential candidate than how to inflate car tires."

T.Boone Pickens has complemented Obama's energy plan, is that because he actually looked at it, did you? or are you locked into tire gauge talking point, haven't you heard, that point has been dropped after the auto club and Motor Trend agreed with Obama.

T.Boone Pickens has met with both candidates who both signalled agreement with Pickens. Pickens complemted Obama, has not yet complemnted McCain, but probably will.

may be a good idea to check what Obama's plan is, just google it, but we know you won't, that would screw up your talking points

Motor Trend agreed with Obama.

I give up you win....

"I give up you win"
for ATAXPAYER, a memo from T.Boone Pickens

Pickens successful PR team sent out a statement from the oil man. Im strongly encouraged by Senator Obamas speech on Americas energy future. Foreign oil is killing our economy and putting our nation at risk,-- the statement reads. When I started this campaign my goal was to make this the biggest issue in the coming election and the top priority to be addressed in the first hundred days of the next administration. This issue is clearly moving up in the priority of political debate; Senator Obamas statement is an indication that is what is indeed happening. I will continue to push this as a priority for the rest of the year.--

so what is it you don't like about his plan, since like you he is "embracing all forms of energy wind, solar, nuclear, drilling, whatever works period.", you don't like that?

One can only hope history judges GWB fairly and accurately.

ATAXPAYER,
I assume you chose that moniker because you pay taxes. Why do you argue for the ones who don't?

Will Texans honestly feel good about having a George W. Bush libary in their state now after all this man has done wrong to our country? GWB is no Son of Texas they can be proud of, that's for sure. If I were driving thru Texas I wouldn't even want be on a GWB-named highway or drive over a GWB-named bridge or fly out of a GWB-named airport. Texans should rip down those signs, if they have any, and just wash their state clean of any reminder of the Bush crime family.

You are a yellow dog Demo pumped up on the Demo kool aid as well. I am sure your hero must have cemented many overseas aliases with foreign leaders during his propaganda wing ding tour of the middle east. Oh and one more thing I forgot, You're an idiot !!!!

Posted by ATaxpayer at 2008-08-20 10:50 AM

really...OK...so let's see who has the lamest talking points..hmmm.

How about we stack Bush's (or McBush's for that matter)Experience and Leadership skills and Judgment when he ran for President up against Obama's.

I mean just listen to the two of them talk! I'd say Obama wins that one.

I'd take Obama any day of the week AND at that "3 am morning call".

BTW- how did Bush do on that 3 am call when Russia Invaded Georgia?

Not so good apparently.

"Will Texans honestly feel good about having a George W. Bush libary in their state now after all this man has done wrong to our country?"

They don't care about the country. They're Texans.

This post appears to have struck a nerve.

No big feat to strike a nerve with a blog entry where the premise is idiotic.
Trust me, I'm the king.

I checked my tire pressure yesterday!!!!!!

It was fine, I guess I can't be part of the plan to save 200,000 barrels of oil everyday.

Has anyone else even checked their own?

"No I expected more from a Presidential candidate than how to inflate car tires."

Funny, Sen. Obama expected more from a voter than just to cling to a silly talking point instead of actually going to his web site and finding out what his real energy plan consists of.
As with most folks on the right, your arguments are based on ignorance of what the other side says. You are so willing to oppose Obama's energy plan yet you don't know anything about it.
I'd be embarrassed to be so intentionally ignorant.

Motor Trend agreed with Obama.

And Schwarzenwhatzit, NASCAR (truly a couple of libruls), EPA, just about everybody with a functioning brain.

McSame, of course, thinks it's stupid. He seriously belives that if you stick a pipe in the ground, 94 octane will come gushing out. Methinks he's flashing back to too many Beverly Hillbillies intros....

McSame does not really believe that additional drilling will help bring down gas prices, even he is not really that stupid. It is merely a politically motivated slogan which unfortunately does fool the uninformed, and unfortunately there are millions of uninformed Americans.

Bush, looking deeply into Putins eyes;

Bush; Hey Pooty, your balls are cold.

Pooty; Shut up you stupid bitch and get back to work.

Bush; You're so evil, it really turns me on. Mmm Mmmm gobble gobble, slurp. Don't forget that you promised to get out of georgia after this.

Pooty; I vill, I vill (with fingers crossed behind back)

Danni you paint every single person on the right with the same brush because you are biased misinformed and ignorant of the facts. Yes I made a funny about part of Obama's energy plan, other parts make sense to any thinking person. Your assumption that I summarily dismissed Obama's enTIRE plan is incorrect therefore you are wrong.

his thread gets an EXTRANEOUS flag

And you get an IRRELEVENT flag.

Ataxpayer
So Obama doesn't have enough experience?
How much experience AS A PRESIDENT does McBush have?
How much did your butt-boy Georgie have?
It's an empty talking point-meant ONLY to impress those with empty brains-like-well...yours

When Obama goes down in flames over the next 2 months, and the libs in America are kicking themselves like Met fans, or whining about "cheating" to nobody who will listen, or wringing their hands and moaning, or have gone back into hiding with their bongs or what have you,

WHO will I think about the most to inspire that sensational feeling of smug satisfaction and vindication?

Danni - perhaps
Dethprick - very likely

hmmmmmmm ????

Maybe if you on the right didn't ALL spout the same talking points-at the same time-it wouldn't sound as though we're painting with a broad brush.

hay guyz i kan predict teh elecshun resutls b4 teh convenshons lol

Geez, ATP, give the tire gauge thing a rest...Can we also expect you to blather on about tire gauges should you appear in an abortion thread?

Several posters here have asked you well thought-out questions, yet you skirt those and seem to only go for the lower-hanging fruit, as it were. You are coming across as a teenager, yet I sadly suspect you are in your fifties at least (just a hunch).

You were asked what it was about Obama's energy policies that you disagreed with. You've yet to actually answer that question other than to make some lame, oft-repeated snark about tire pressure. Which, by the way, was a good suggestion and answer to the question posed. I don't think Bushie even knows that tires have air in them.

ATAXPAYER says "I made a funny about part of Obama's energy plan, other parts make sense to any thinking person. Your assumption that I summarily dismissed Obama's enTIRE plan is incorrect therefore you are wrong."

NO, please don't.

Keep reminding us how Republicans are willing to embrace stupidity, and a plan which might have one-fifth the impact (a decade from now) versus running one's car efficiently.

I had to laugh when all the (R) pundits raced out to condemn tune-ups because someone with a (D) behind his name suggested it. I'm willing to keep laughing.

Try reading the previous post it does help, also try an exchange of ideas with a dozen yellow dog demos at the same time and see how well you do.

danni-unfortunately Obama and th democrats failed to jump all over McSaem on this-they should have pointd out what the oil companies say-7 to 10 years before the first drop of oil, and asked McSame what he intended to do in his first term.

Obama's gotta grow a pair and bust Mcsame's BS campaign asap (with apologies to the good reverand and all...)

The first comment by "Sawdust" said it all. Game. Set. Match. All of the rest is su[perfluous commentary.

Then there is the inanity of those who criticize the conduct of the United States as if it were relevant. Infantile thought processes are not confined to infants.

OH COME ON MAN !! LETS GET TO THE REAL ISSUE !!

You want a President who can look into another man's soul like George W Bush did with Vladimir Putin and declare him a good and honorable man when in reality he is nothing but a KGB self serving piece of shit who thinks Bush is a complete fucking dumbass.

"Danni you paint every single person on the right with the same brush because you are biased misinformed and ignorant of the facts."

No, quite the contrary. I take the time to become informed and form my opinion from that and so do some of the righties who post here but apparently you aren't one of them. Those who aren't ignorant of the fact don't post that Obama's energy plan is to check the air pressure in our tires. Admit it, you haven't read it but still you have an opinion about it. That is the problem with so many of you on the right, you don't take the time to find out, you just listen to some pundit and take his/her word for it. REad and learn.

Danni how incredibly pompous your stupidity shows once again, how in the hell would you have any clue if I have or have not read Obama's energy plan. The truth is your hypothesis is contrary to fact you are wrong yet again. How can I agree with portions of a plan that I have not read ? You make an assumption and declare in your post that somehow this is now a fact because you said so. Bullsh!t...

"How in the hell would you have any clue if I have or have not read Obama's energy plan."

Umm, the fact that you've not yet realized that you seem to be in agreement with Obama, yet feel compelled to criticize him on it?

"Umm, the fact that you've not yet realized that you seem to be in agreement with Obama, yet feel compelled to criticize him on it?"

Pssssst.... Ataxpayer is a moron.

"looked into the eyes" of leaders Vladimir Putin

Are you kidding?; Putin was head of the KGB; this guy is no joke.

The Chimp was over his head from the beginning. They are just putting a dress on a sows ear.

Bush actually had a "system"? That's news to me I thought he just made the shit up as he went along.

Try and spin it anyway you can asswipe !!

evashogouki and sully try reading my post it may help then again it may not due to extremely high levels of stupidity on your part how incredibly pompous your stupidity shows once again, how in the hell would you have any clue if I have or have not read Obama's energy plan.
