McCain: has a certified BC showing that he was born of two married natural born citizens in a US hospital.

Obmama: failed to produce a certified BC. Has a scanned version thought by document experts to be a fake. He was born who (knows where) to a mother and father who were not married (Father was still married to someone else). Mother was only 19 and as such was not old enough to give natural born status. Father citizen of Kenya.

Bottom line is if Obama cannot prove he was born in Hawaii then he may not be eligible to run.

Americans, for the most part, are a "patriotic" group. McCain's service was remarkable and he has talked about it far less than did the Democratic nominee in 2004.

I'll give you a clue: The Left defines their own self-interests in purely economic terms. Ever hear the phrase, "There's more to life than money."? Think about it. The culturalism of the left is repugnant to an awful lot of Joe six-pack Americans. In the case of red states, that cultural revulsion outweighs economic interests. That the cultural left mocks them, their icons and calls them stupid for not voting in a manner that the left wants them to vote, only makes matters worse for the Democratic party.

McCain was born in Panama, but more importantly, his parents were American citizens, so he could have been born on Mars and still been an American at birth. And a sense of the Senate resolution took care of any lingering doubts.

And for Obama, the same rule would apply as for McCain. Obama's mother was an American. So is her son.
