I always nutted bulls calves at about 3 to 4 days old with a castrating band. We raised about two hundred a year til feeder size...so it was very efficient.
I had to watch them a little closer in the summer...but they would generally just dry up and fall off. Voila !

NANC-At my last licensing qualification I had to run to a shotgun match as soon as possible. They let me rapid fire all of the calibers and if Ok, leave. .45acp, 44spcl and mag, .38spcl and .357 mag and for the hell of it .45 long colt. Made all but the one favorite, the .45acp. Had to give up three more rapid fire shots to make that one. The company I worked for nearly shit when I gave the copy to them.

Overregulation by government? If it had been a farm animal, no one would be bothered. But nowadays, it seems as if you need a particular credential to cross the street. Now only veterinarians can massage horses in some states. Is this for the protection of income rather than the protection of animals?
