Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

The loss of Booger the pit bull terrier was almost more than Bernann McKinney could bear. Thanks to the South Korean biotech firm RNL Bio, she is happy, minus $50,000 and her house, and owner of five cloned Booger puppies.

Did anyone tell her that Booger is dead and that this new fad pet is a phoney and not the real Booger?

What a waste of money--the fad dogs will die and what--she goes and does it again?

5 pitbulls? I smell meth lab.

Big deal. The Right has been cloning lokisfur here for a long time. But each generation is just a tad more retarded, right FeebleWitThom?

Otherwise known as Lunch Special #3.....

Pet clothing? Unless the pet is hairless, I don't get it.

Not only that, but don't cloned animals age and die quicker?

YEAH!

Except the part where one wonders, whats it to you? I mean, whats it to you what someone else does with their own money? And who the fuck elected you arbitrator of acceptable animal husbandry protocols? You seem to be one person circus of Busy-Bodyness!

But let me guess your issue anyway ---- this is something else you suspect the invisible Mooslum Horde is going to make you submit too, right?

Anyway, farmers have been cloning-- for centuries, its called In and In Breeding-- and no doubt the beef on your table and the dog on the porch are direct products of this technique. Does that fact bother you too?

@Sully:

Yes. Kinda. The start life at a "genetic age" equivalent to the age of the DNA used to create them.

If the DNA from Booger was taken when Booger was 12 years old, the MiniBoogers will all be highly susceptible to health problems like a 12 year old dog would be.

That's not to say that the mini boogers will drop dead in a year, but they will have shorter life spans and they will be juveniles coming down with problems normally seen in senior dogs.

Mini-Boogers. Are those like Sliders?

Some people like dogs as food.
That makes sense to me, yummy!

Some people like dogs as pets.
That makes no sense, shitimg, pissing, digging, biting kids.

Some people like dogs better than people.
That is really weird, put them in a rubber room.

Dog Hater Thom

Meanwhile a dog that she could have had for $50 is getting euthanized.

This has been done in other places for numerous years now. Korea is far from the cutting edge.

Umm, Redneck, you do realize your self retorting retort? Check it out..."You seem to be one person circus of Busy-Bodyness!"

The DR is a place to EXPRESS OPINION, which each and every one of us do. Why so quick to jump on Murphy? Feeling busy-bodynish? Why so pissy today (and, well, every day?)
