Bill Clinton used to be a lawyer but was disbarred for lying under oath and lost his law license.
Hillary Clinton is still a lawyer as far as I know.
Which one are you referring to for the assault?

I love bagging on Clinton, but let's be accurate here. He was slapped with a contempt of court (not technically the same as lying under oath, but it was excessively evasive use of the English language "That depends on what the definition of is, is."). He was never convicted of perjury. As a result of his contempt of court charge he had his law liscence suspended for 5 years. It has since been re-instated. He was also fined roughly $100k.
