"Wanna bet ? If this asshole survives he tries to sue. "

I am sure the bank robber's union has good workers comp benefits, after all, it is a risky job.

Should have finished him off!

At least the bank customer didn't cut off the robber's head.
I don't think I can handle anymore of those stories.

"Should have finished him off!"

Cops will tell you, if your gonna shoot shoot to kill. I've been told by plenty of cops that you empty you clip or as many round as you can into him before the guy hits the ground.

BOOM! HEADSHOT!!!!111!!

Sal...when I took the conceal carry course...that was pretty much what they said.

Works for me

The guy must have been able to get to his gun quicker than he could get out of the car and unscrew the antenna.
This robber should consider himself lucky! He could have been assaulted with a car antenna as opposed to only being shot in the head!

Reason number 872 why ALL self respecting decent Americans should be packin'.

Where are BuffaloBob and the other anti-gun puds that always ask about gun owners shooting robbers?

101...they will be here to argue that the man should have just driven away.

......being in favor of gun control does not mean that we have sympathy for criminals.......

.......when you decide to commit a criminal act..you take your life in your hands, period....if something bad happens....you asked for it.......

.......its just our belief that fewer guns would mean fewer gun deaths......

......30K Americans a year die by gunfire.......

.......of those 30k, 17k are suicides.......

.......1k are accidents......kids playing with daddy's guns.......

.......I think we are a lesser nation for the loss......

.......but thats just me........

NOTE TO SELF

Don't mess with Kerrin!

The criminal deserved what he got.

Kudos to the law abiding citizen, who was responsible enough to legally obtain a concealment permit.

The criminal deserved what he got.

Yes, the sentence for all crime in America should be death. Why are you all so hyper to kill someone? This guy got his $50 bucks back, but now he has to spend the rest of his life knowing he killed a man. Is it worth it? I thought we were a civilized people.

As these recent cases have been proving, guns don't prevent crime, they just allow people to shoot the criminals after the crime has already been committed, and that's what you all really want, isn't it?

"Yes, the sentence for all crime in America should be death. "

Whoa, read the article. This guy robbed the victim at gunpoint. He was more than willing to put the victim's life on the line. In my book, the good guy won.

Sure it is worth it.. Without the gun, this guy would have spent the rest of his life paranoid and afraid after such a traumatic event. The victim never wins no matter what happens, but this guy may have prevented future victims.

Damn, aimed for the head and the robber lived.

No pity for this chump. Here's hoping he recovers with a stutter and a long prison sentence.

And if he lives and tries to sue, somebody should finish the job..

How does this prevent him from getting robbed again? Next time he'll get robbed by someone else. All this does is satisfy a thirst for vengeance.

From the article:
"The robber was wounded in the head and was in stable condition at a hospital, police said."

Please refrain from making blatantly false comments until after you read the article...

As for the robbery victim, he didn't shoot until after the retarded robber started to re-point his gun at him - if you decide to make a living as a robber, be prepared for the consequences.

Anyone suprised that this DIDN'T happen in Texas? :)

TFDN...criminals are stupid cowards. Never knowing which potential victim will be packing heat will deter crime.
Criminals pretty much know they can break into a house in DC without a problem...try that in Texas...could be dicey.
Same thing in most conceal carry states.

LOL True...but the most important thing they taught us was NOT to use the gun...unless confronted with deadly threat. You never know who is an undercover officer.

Nice, because it may not solve all problems why not stop solving any? Might as well vote for obama.

Wow...that is so on the mark.
But dems really need to keep gas prices high...until the elections.

"Anyone suprised that this DIDN'T happen in Texas? :)"

Not really. The guy scored a headshot with a pistol.

Directly, it doesn't. But the more this happens the less attractive a job robbing will become.

Directly speaking, he probably saved other people from becoming victims of this person in the future.

Equating the defense of your property and safety with "satisfy a thirst for vengeance", is pretty dumb.

Except it wasn't defense as his property had already been stolen.

And Bart, it was pure luck he didn't kill the guy, do you deny that is what he was trying to do?

So it's a citizens job to solve the problem of crime by killing people? Why have courts or police? Just issue everyone guns and let them all shoot it out, sounds like a civilized society to me.

Can somebody point me to a story where someone successfully prevented a crime by having a gun, or are they all about a crime being committed and then someone shooting the criminal as they ran away.
