Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Bosnian Serb wartime leader Radovan Karadzic was protected by the United States until a CIA phone bug caught him breaking the terms of his "deal", the Serb newspaper Blic reported Saturday, quoting a US intelligence source. The newspaper claims Karadzic was secretly granted immunity in return for keeping a low profile.

Interesting.

He's a bastard, but he was our bastard. Apparently.

Wonder how much dirt he has to get protection...

"He's a bastard, but he was our bastard. Apparently."

Both sides in that war were doing the same shit to each other. It was none of our business. But we still dropped bombs on cities anyway. Ignore Al Queda and bomb the Serbs for no reason. Worked out great for us.

[sarcasm]The U.S. aiding and protecting a terrorist? Nahhhh, never. I mean that's just crazy.[/sarcasm]

Is there an fucked up dictator we don't protect? Except Hussein after 2002, it seems we have every head of state in our back pocket.

Where is te proof of this? Oh yeah, you folks believe athing. Lemmings

Man, you guys don't need this right now.

Actually, the only original source I've seen for this assertion of U.S. protection is Karadzic himself. How much is that worth?

"Ignore Al Queda and bomb the Serbs for no reason."

Seem to remember it was done to pressure the Serb govt to stop aiding the Bosnian Serbs. Did seem to work.

Where is the documentation on this? Is something else down Sandy Berger's pants?

yawn. he said she said at an international level with a 10 year fugitive. I'm calling bullshit on the deal. And to borrow a quote from a man with great political insight, I Hope he enjoys licking jelly out of the crack of thunderdick's ass! -Ron White.

Sounds reasonable to me. After all, quite a few of our own leaders would be grateful for such a deal starting next year.

Actually, the only original source I've seen for this assertion of U.S. protection is Karadzic himself. How much is that worth?

It's not worth shit. But also the U. S. Governments word ain't worth shit either. So as you can see we're at a stalemate.

DFIANT... You have said it all!!!
GOD BLESS AMERICA, HOME OF THE FREE, LAND OF THE SLAVES.

"It's not worth shit. But also the U. S. Governments word ain't worth shit either."

But if Karadzic's word is "not worth shit", then there is no issue, is there? So the U.S. govt's trustworthiness is not an issue.

Nothing written down--verbal negotiations--and the witness to those talks is still alive?

Is our gov't so stupid?

No need to answer that...

But if Karadzic's word is "not worth shit", then there is no issue, is there? So the U.S. govt's trustworthiness is not an issue.

So what you're basically saying is that as long as you deal with untrustworthy lunatics...your trustworthiness can never be called into question? Seriously.....

Where is te proof of this? Oh yeah, you folks believe athing. Lemmings
