Report: US Made Deal with Karadzic

Bosnian Serb wartime leader Radovan Karadzic was protected by the United States until a CIA phone bug caught him breaking the terms of his "deal", the Serb newspaper Blic reported Saturday, quoting a US intelligence source. The newspaper claims Karadzic was secretly granted immunity in return for keeping a low profile.

Both sides in that war were doing the same shit to each other. It was none of our business. But we still dropped bombs on cities anyway. Ignore Al Queda and bomb the Serbs for no reason. Worked out great for us.

Actually, the only original source I've seen for this assertion of U.S. protection is Karadzic himself. How much is that worth?

Seem to remember it was done to pressure the Serb govt to stop aiding the Bosnian Serbs. Did seem to work.
