Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Mary McFate, a prized volunteer for the gun-control movement in Pennsylvania since the mid-'90s, was actually a paid spy for the National Rifle Association, according to Mother Jones magazine. "She had access to all the legislative strategy for every major issue for years," said Kristen Rand of the Violence Policy Center.

Cool.

So I guess the bulge in her pants all those years wasn't what her friends thought...

By any means necessary.

If atheists like Matt Tiabbi can be "moles" to "infiltrate" churches to report on what those scary Christians are doing, this is par for the course.

Sounds like a future reality tv show...

Awesome!!Way to go lady..Perhaps the gun control hippies should go to East LA and confiscate their guns..Or perhaps Chicago...What a bunch of morons.

Gun Control works!!! Just ask the men who have used it to set up imposable tyrany: King George, Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pinochet, Castro, ect....

What a waste of money/time if she was paid...as if the NRA did not know the oppositions' agenda.

Must have been all the free food/wine at the conventions and board/strategy meetings!

What, exactly, is an "imposable tyrany"? That asked, this item does somehow show how the NRA considers itself an entity on a par with governments. "King George, Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pinochet, Castro, ect...." Etc. meaning, of course, Charlton Heston. herm

herm,

you are a sad man..

NRA rules

"herm, you are a sad man.. NRA rules" (sic) --- Ret, for a change you're right. Shit like this makes me sadder than hell. Did you have - er - any IDEA to share? herm

Will the NRA retain their offices in the WH under a Dem administration ?

Remember... you have nothing to hide if you have done nothing wrong!

Well, time to go clean my guns.

Corporations are hiring spys to infiltrate organizations? Why?

I'll have to use the typical republicunt talking point: "If they did nothing wrong, they should have nothing to worry about".

Sounds like corporate espionage.

Now that Charlton Heston is dead, I'll be the first to pry his gun from his cold, dead hands!

Everyone is in favor of gun control. The NRA is an organization that harvests cash from paranoid morons.

You just defined a lot of PACs

I bet those passengers on the Canadian Greyhound wished they'd had a gun to neutralize that sicko bastard who cut up that kid.

One shot, to the back of the head, and no more worries from that loon.

See guns DO come in handy, (but only when someone has one).

Gun control benefits criminals, because DECENT PEOPLE DON'T KILL OTHERS!

Please explain how anyone with a gun could've saved him. It seems they neutralized the criminal by trapping him in the bus. What you're speaking of is instant punishment, which is really what most so called "justice" types want. They just want an excuse to kill people.

REDNECKVILLE: NRA membership is not mandatory, unlike some unions. Unions serve a purpose, but mandatory membership sucks.

"Unions serve a purpose, but mandatory membership sucks."

You're only 20 years behind on your history. You don't have to be a member of a Union since the Beck decision in 1988.

she should write a how to book for lobbyists

NRA FOREVER

The greyhound bus massacre and beheading could have been stopped if someone had a gun and used it.

You point and shoot--you don't even have to kill the guy.

It might have saved Tim's life.

Murphy

I wholeheartedly agree. The Canadians always act so smug with their pro-control attitude and put down Americans for wanting our Second Amendment Rights.

But one gun on board that Greyhound might have been able to save that kid. Now the Canadians are going to be looking at the sadistic monster who killed this kid being able to get a weekend pass after only a couple years -- Canadian "justice" is scary.

pro-control = pro gun control

I use to be a member of the NRA for a couple years during the Clinton Administration (when gun ownership right were always under attack) in order to show support for their organization even though I didn't own a gun.

You can thank the NRA our right to own and carry a gun still exists today. The NRA has fought many battles against the far left who would love to turn us into a society where we have no right to protect ourselves.

Once again, someone please explain to me how a gun would have saved that kid. He was already being stabbed by the time anyone else knew what was going on. Do you really think someone firing a gun inside the close quarters of a bus would be a good thing to have been going on as well?
