The Texeira deal with the Angels is much more important. OBTW, 9 in a row over Boston? Go Los Angeles Angels of "Anaheim, Azusa, and Cucamonga"....

Ken Griffey has been an ordinary player for the last seven or so years, but he will go to the HOF because most of his best years were before all those home run races and pumped up biceps of the late 90s and early 00's

I always thought Griffey Jr. was an asshole with a huge sense of entitlement but you have to give it to him: He put up huge numbers without steriods at a time when many people were juicing.

He'll be on the DL by the end of the week.

"He'll be on the DL by the end of the week"
Chipper Jones will get traded to the Sox and him and Griffey will collide in the clubhouse doorway while coming in and be out for the season.

I remember Griffey Sr. Man, the first few years he looked like a HOFer. I remember the '75 and '76 NL Championship Series and the World Series-- you got the feeling the Reds would be awesome forever. Then the Dodgers and Yanks grew up and started to kick ass. unfortunately after Sr. went to the Yanks he lost his edge.

Jr has 600 HRs. That is amazing in any era. He was voted player of the century in the 1990s. I have rookies, autographed balls, autographed bat and they are for sale.

I had a autographed hockey stick belonging to Hockey HOFer Jean Ratelle when he was with the Baltimore Clippers. My old man got it at a game for me when I was four years old. I sold it in 1999 for $7000.
PS: My dad used to beat me with it.

On another note Jr is one of the best to ever play the game. Think about where he would be in the HR totals and extra base hits if he wasn't injured for what seems like a decade. No one would have given 2 shits about Bonds because he'd be second fiddle to Jr. It also doesn't hurt that the guy has the prettiest swing of any hitter in baseball.

And Manny Ramirez gone to the Dodgers. Maybe Joe Torre can kick some sense into him.
