Oh boy 101! Why am I not surprised you would make such comments. Oh well, maybe your comments will generate lots of comments.

I told you Rick Mahorn is a big fat pussy.

No dunking, no punching... has a titty ever even popped out? Fucking hell the WNBA sucks...

They no can dunk, but good fundamentals. That more fun to watch.

You're officially okay in my book...

Me need Snoo-snoo...

Ive never seen so many sleeveless flannel shirts in my life.;^)

or comfortable shoes.

1. Stern needs to remove the feeding tube on the WNBA. I'm willing to bet that the paid attendance did not cover the cost of using the electricity for the game and practices leading up to said game.

2. Perhaps I'm just a glutton for violence, but I would not consider this a "brawl" by any definition. A brawl is what happens in European and South American Football matches or between the Yanks and the Red Sox, not a few PMSy women smacking each other around for 25 seconds.

It's a sad day for sports when this is a top story, but in all fairness to the real sports, we do find ourselves in the time of year when nothing really matters (NBA trades that may or may not benefit someone, MLB too far away from a race to matter, NFL trying to pump the Favre story and the NHL (to those of us who still love hockey) hasn't made a blip since the Cup was raised a few months ago). I HATE THE SUMMER

"I HATE THE SUMMER"

Lucky for you then that this year is one of those that is divisible by four, meaning an olympic year. I am sure there will be plenty of scandals to keep everyone busy..

I almost forgot about the Olympics (how could I be so foolish when they made such efforts to ensure they will start on 08.08.08?)

All kidding aside, I am a pretty big fan of the Olympics, those 2 weeks should keep the WNBA out of the news provided the TV signal can make its way through the smog!

The Olympics isn't as big as is once was. Is that the same for anyone else? When did that change? This year I'm going to take more time to see how it goes. A guy from our local high school is on the US team - Chris Paul is playing basketball. So we'll definitely watch all those games.

Paul has really made a name for himself in the NBA in just a couple of years. It seems like yesterday we were watching him play high school ball.

The Olympics went down the tubes the same year they started having pros play. I'd rather see a college all-star team play instead of a so-called "dream team" made up of rich, lazy thugs. Still love the swimming and track, though.

I could not agree more, especially in the case of ice hockey. I wish we'd go back to the days when tryouts were held and pride was the reward, not the ensuing endorsements.

While the Dream Team was fun to watch, the teams since then are nothing more than selfish all-stars trying to make headlines...a perfect reflection of the NBA itself.

I loved it!!

Wasn't as good as baseballs bench clearing but it certainly peaked my interest.

Not happening. They kicked baseball out because they can't use the pros due it being a summer sport.

(Before anyone starts with the "nobody cares about baseball outside the US" nonsense, baseball is hugely popular on three continents and there are pro-leagues in many countries across five continents. It is more widely played and followed than 90% of the alleged sports included in the summer games.)

They've been talking about doing it for ice hockey which be would great. Olympic hockey now is like watching the All-Star game on a larger rink.
