He could have tried to make the war look worse than it was to counter the Rethugs view that the "surge" was was sucha success. He could have tried to lie to America like the Republicans did and twist public opinion that way. No, he didn't do any of that. He just showed up and listend and talked to the Generals and the Troops.

That dang Obama! He just can't be counted on to do the wrong things so Mr Poopypants and crew could take advantage of him and try to make him look foolish!

apparently Obama is NOT getting too much Press coverage when 12% either still believe he is a Muslim when that has been proven to be an outright lie or continue to spread that false rumor in spite of it being proven a lie.
