Following a tragic shipwreck in the Mediterranean, the body of an attractive young woman was washed up on the beach near St. Tropez.

The gendarme who came across it during his rounds went off to contact the coroner's office, and when he came back he was horrified to find his best friend on top of the corpse, going at is as hard as he could.

"Pierre, Pierre!" shouted the gendarme. "That woman -- she is dead!"

The article alludes to the Roma's modesty. One of the trades they plied was that of prostitute. This is understandable as they strove to survive.

It does seem a bit odd that they would all go in for a dip. Who watched their inventory of trinkets? The rescuers came from "the private beach," and were not the beachgoers using the public beach? Odd?

I'm wondering what according to the writer of the article, was the recommended ritual should have begun upon removal of the bodies from the ocean?

Considering the political climate in Europe over the last 125 years, this isn't that unusual. World wars. Civil wars, Junta's you name it. If you really want that tan, ignore the bodies. After all they are covered and look no different that anyone else for the first few days.

Talk about a dead lay.

European sunbathers? In other words, they were probably naked. From what people who've been to Europe tell me, nude beaches are more common there.

During my years as a paramedic I learned one important fact about dead people.

They are fucking heavy!

Gypsies, tramps, and thieves

Europeans are all walking dead bodies
