Gosh, I always knew that this evolution thing was just so much hooey, adaptation, proliferation of favorable mutations. Bah, those secularists have created lots of myths to deceive those of us who are true believers.
The genome of different races may be different, but I declare them "the same." The differences may be superficial, such as a tendency toward obesity, high blood pressure, susceptibility to HIV/AIDS because of a mutation in the genome that was an adaptation against malaria. All of these things are superficial. Now what does superficial mean in this context.
Well, the races are not yet sufficiently differentiated that they cannot interbreed. And with globalization, interbreeding is occurring and modfiying delineations. For example, some 95%, is it, of the blacks in Africa have a genome marker that only 60% of American blacks have that renders them more susceptible to HIV. It's easily dissipated as blacks interbreed with others. And Ashkenazi Jews suffer by carrying a BRAC that renders them more susceptible to breast cancer, so much so that some of them have pre-emptive mastectomies. But these are only superficial.
And hey, the distribution of "intelligence" as demonstrated in abilities to do some abstract work seems differentiated by "race," statistically that is, but the range of intelligence available to an individual based on inheritance of abilities may be anywhere in the distribution although the high end shows a particular paucity of some races.
It's a matter of adaptation. Some years ago, a tall man with athletic ability would have few niches, but nowadays with professional basketball, it's an adaptation that can bring him millions of dollars a year in income. The environment changes and existing genomically determined characteristics become quite utile.
So, depending on the structure of society and the abilities needed, those provided by a particular genomic configuration can be beneficial or detrimental to the adaptation of the individual and the individual's ability to thrive.
Let's hear that mantra again. There is no such thing as "race." Got it. But there are genomic distributions and distinctions that are significant. Is the catchword "race" now taboo? Okay. Let's replace it and address the reality without semantically loaded language that introduces emotion as an obstacle to clear thinking.
