Watch the interview with the parachutist, way to take responsibility. I wish more people would owe up to their mistakes like this guy did.

The Band Members were not injured by the parachutist.
There were several Rethugs in the crowd-they beat them up up for getting in the guy's way...

This reminds me of a rather amusing incident at the Royal Tournament can't remember what year. Don't recall the theme but the opening involved St. George and the dragon, they had this gurt big fire breathing green dragon which in fact was a light tank wearing a dragon costume. Problem was if the "costume" shifted just a tad, tank driver couldn't see where he was going, so the result was a "blind" tank driver and a massed band not a good combination. Military precision quickly dissolved into a chinese fire drill as the band members dropped their instruments and ran like hell to get away. No-one was hurt, but alot of instruments were squished. I can just imagine the insurance claim "trombone run over by a dragon" LOL

Don't jump all over this guy. He was marching to the beat of a different drummer. Besides, if the soldiers had banded together everyone would be playing a happy tune.
