And you really are an idiot... that article was about Romney trying to imply that McCain invented the surge so he could be selected as VP. The author of the article never suggests that the claim has any validity.

Your statement was that HUFFINGTON was trying to tie McCain to the surge, not that it was Romney who tried to do it.

Your intent was to play a kind of gotcha game, or a game of turnabout is fair play, and you failed miserably.

Just admit that in your enthusiasm to find some way to make the Democrats seem as disingenuous as the Republicans, you made a mistake in referring your move to an article that you didn't actually read, and which didn't actually say what you attributed to it.

doesn't matter what the article said....it matters what the title of the article is. Huffington was the vehicle that carried this article headline.
