Seems like maybe not so much:
Overall, the Democrat has a lead of 50 percent to 42 percent over Republican Sen. John McCain among registered voters nationwide, lifted by a big edge among women, and he has also regained an edge among political independents. But it is Obama's 19-point lead on the economy that has become a particularly steep challenge for McCain.
Among independents, the poll shows Obama with a lead of 49 percent to 40 percent. Last month the challengers were essentially tied among independents.

Polls are like aholes. Everybody got one.
All kidding aside, it changes all the time. I thought it interesting that Hillary does a bit better than Obama against McCain.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll shows Barack Obama attracting 45% of the vote while John McCain earns 41%. When "leaners" are included, its Obama 48% and McCain 45% (see recent daily results). Other polling shows that, in a hypothetical match-up, Obama leads the current President by twenty percentage points while Hillary Clinton does a bit better than Obama against McCain. Tracking Polls are released at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time each day.

Aha, corky, I knew there had to be an angle. You tricked me into reading your post that seemed like it was about obama.
But, dammit, it was about that dried up old hag Hillary, again. Do you post nothing else, sir/maam?

"However, McCain fares better against Obama than he does against two other prominent Democrats. New York Senator Hillary Clinton leads McCain by eight points, 50% to 42%. Former Vice President Al Gore, the Democratic presidential nominee in 2000, leads McCain 50% to 43%.
>>>These numbers help explain why Election 2008 is competitive even though events so heavily favor the Democrats -- because the Republicans are on course to nominate their strongest possible general election candidate but the Democrats are not. Perhaps even more importantly, the data suggests that voters dont see a potential McCain Administration as the third term of President Bush."

Once I posted about the origins of the term, "fuckwit", but became convinced that you were demonstrably the resident expert on the subject, so I gave it up.
