My point was this: We can bemoan (rightfully so) corporate welfare. On this subject I am with you libs 100% - governmental interference in the marketplace, to the extent of giving preferential treatment via subsidides and bailouts, is a horrendous thing.

On this I was referring to the subsidies given to green technology, stem cell research, etc.

The Carbon-credit comment really doesn't apply in the context of your initial comment and my response to it. In short, I went off on a tangent.
