You know damned well they got hundreds of MILLIONS in tax breaks and incentives to build it there.

They can't build it fast enough. What a boon for TN.

AL has been getting the plants in their state.

Great news for that area's economy. It'll mean more than simply the 2000 plant jobs. FED EX decided several years ago to build a hub here at the Greensboro airport. Not only jobs for the FED EX folks, but other companies will locate here due to the proximity of the hub. The hub should hopefully be running in the next few years - definitely a longer ramp up period than one manufacturing plant.

Same when Dell Computers built a plant near here. All sorts of supply companies & transportation companies came to the area to support Dell's needs.

we have 3 1500 vostro Dells here in our little grouP

My beloved alabama only offered 200 million to get the plant and apparently it wasn't enough. Most people there are not too upset because we have won almost all the recent contests. Mercedes was the crown jewel of all times.

The proposed site was close to Huntsville. That area is the largest technology center in the country. They don't have that many people looking for manufacturing jobs.

Farfignuggen for Chattanooga. We're still gonna kick your ass in football this year.
