At least Bush waited until he was in the White House before they started ignoring everybody,-- the aide said.

Oh, oh. Watch it Obama, you aren't the nominee - yet. You're only the "presumptive" nominee.
Coming down the home stretch, there's Ms Hillary pounding the turf. You thought the race was over and you'd defeated "the vaunted" Clinton machine. The fat lady hasn't sung yet.

The fat lady hasn't sung yet.
No, but her husband writes complete operas every post.
And, he's a Moonie
I'm not buying any flowers from him though

Aw, come on AU, demonstrate your humanity, I see that you portray yourself, cryptographically, as having a heart of gold. Act accordingly.
We've got a special deal on flowers for you. Because we like you. Give some to your sweetie. Be a man. Be romantic. Share the love.

Congressional Dems Miffed at Obama?

JOHNSON
I do have a heart of gold.
However, I can't buy your flowers. They support a lunatic, Sun Myung Moon.
My heart doth grow angry with your constant lies and half truths.
I just busted your chops on the New Yorker thread.
You posed it as a question, but based on your constant lies and half truths about Obama, I have to assume you believe it to be true. I owned you on that one. Post more. I'll be sure to point out to the class that your sources are full of ... rotten flower petals.
LOL

Couldn't possibly have any truth to it..?
How typical.

Seems to me to be a couple of things going on here...
1) Some folks who are a little spoiled and expect the candidate to cater specifically to their own particular agendas NOW and aren't patient enough to wait while the national campaign gels.
2) A national campaign that is still getting its feet under it as if figures out how to move forward on multiple fronts vs. the narrower focus of the primary campaign.
Proverbial tempest in a teapot.

All this goes away after the Convention. Just grumbling from those who feel left out. I wonder if the staffer in question in this piece either supported Clinton or works for a congressperson who was a Hillary supporter.
I take it this story is supposed to tie to those PUMA threats of raising money and disrupting the convention. Good luck sore losers.

"Try not defending him. Just once to see how it feels."
Try not attacking him. Just once to see how it feels.
But seriously, how am I "defending" him in my post? You probably didn't actually read what I said in your zeal to disagree with whatever it was. But what I said was that the issue likely resulted from a combination of factors - missteps on the part of the campaign, and possible unrealistic expectations on the part of other Dems.

Could be on that point... I'm not one of the spoiled though. What's being asked of us is not patience, however, its faith. I don't hold faith for anyone. And to be sure, some agendas get ignored entirely (or nearly so) as pandering to the right occurs. Maybe the only way certain issues remain in the discourse is for voters to cajole... and failing that, threaten alternative action.
And, if pandering is the word of the day, and only that, not a window into the real man, doesn't that show disrespect for the folks being pandered to? Shows contempt for the potential voter and for the process in general, IMnotsoHO.

Jebus, SA! You don't even recognize your own apologetics. That could be dangerous if not treated.
Always "with" you, HB.
Dem congressfolk were convinced by the Obama campaign that he would have more coattails than Hil, but he appears to have suddenly gone nude on them, that's all.

Holy Sh*t, Chair!!?
*Shaking my head...
That said, its truly sad how the past seven years have only taught the psuedo left how to play the game, not bring them to vow that it would never be played that way again.
What's good for the goose, I guess.

Bad form 101--
As to the Dems and this thread--
HOw is it that Reid and Pelosi didn't even know Obama was going to give the acceptance speech at Mile High?
They learned it from the news?
That's kinda' funny--"Did you see the #@^$*&% news Harry?"
I guess CBS who is carrying the convention is miffed that he wants to move to the stadium without consulting with them.
It is a huge headache--moving and setting up all that cable and lines and shit.
And if Obama offers to pay for it--that may be considered conflict of interest. Not good.

Murphy- Yes. I can see how Obama's decision to speak at a venue four times the size of McCain's is a definite deficit to the Democratic effort. (what planet do you pretend to be on?)

Huh, the "Bush is a chimp is funny". Obama, who more closely resembles a chimp is not funny.
Oh, I get it. He's black. We can't make obvious observations.

I think you just earned Rigtho's coveted 'Moment of Clarity Award' for today.
No shit!
Bush the smirking chimp is hilarious "Shrubby" is hilarious Bush morphing into Hitler - one of the most insidious leaders in global history - is funny
Anything critical of Obama, regardless of how on-target or salient it may be, is abject racism, at best.

I'm not for a second going to pretend I wasn't aware that my observation was taboo or racially insensitive, but facts are facts, and Obama looks more like a chimp than Bush. That's saying a lot, because I'll be the first to admit Bush resembles a chimpanzee.
There was an article that described the reluctance of people to make fun of Obama because of the fear of being labeled racist. Thankfully such a label doesn't bother me at all.

*** Congressional Dems Miffed at Obama ***
......nobody is stopping those do-nothing pricks from hitting the campaign trail and helping Obama.......
.......you have to give credit to the Republicans, at least people like Romney are hitting the campaign trail for McCain and helping to spread the message.....win or lose.......
.......but the Dems are sitting back, letting Obama do the heavy lifting, and now they are whining about being ignored......
.......get out there and work you whiny bastards.....then maybe he'll call you to say thanks.........
