Never in my life (or the history books) has one Administration been so corrupt, done so much harm, privatized and sold off our assets, eliminated most federal rules and regulations solely for their own profit, lied us into a never ending war, and torn our country apart than what has been done to us by those in this Bush Administration. Seriously, if members of this Administration go unpunished then where will the corruption bar be set for the next President and all those to follow?

The term "kakistocracy" springs to mind whenever I think of this sorry excuse for a government. These bastards have looted our country, financially and morally.

The republicans aren't the only one's who owe this country an apology. Their enablers owe us at least that much as well.

You could buy two Microsofts or three Googles.
You could equip every house in America with solar cells.
You could build solar-concentrating power plants producing 100 gigawatts of electricity, enough for 40 million houses.
You could build 50 new nuclear power plants.
You could fund desalinization r&d and build water pipelines to grainbelt states to replenish rapidly disappearing aquifers, maybe even before desertification due to climate change spreads north from Mexico, where it is currently a reality. (Yes, they'd have to be really big pipes.)
You could fund enough r&d in energy conversion and storage to make our current energy problems more like footnotes than headlines.
You could pay the interest on the national debt for a year and a half.
You could have held the explosion in the national debt under George W. Bush's command to a 50% increase instead of the actual (so far) 57% increase.
You could give every voter in Venezuela $45,000 to vote for someone other than Hugo.
You could give Israel its annual $6B gift every year for the next 100 years.
You could fund 600 new medical schools (which would work wonders for medical costs.)
You could attack the subprime/housing problem.
$600 Billion wouldn't solve the subprime mess but in constant dollars it's three times what George Bush, Sr. had to work with in 1989 when he gave 1000 banks & S&Ls $125 billion to keep them and therefore the economy from crashing.
