When I was in college not too long ago, an on campus co worker told me of a guy in the US Air Force who also tried to commit suicide by fire.

So apparently the guy doused himself with kerosene. After which he began to have second thoughts about the suicide, you might guess what he did next.

He lit a cigarette. Needless to say, he did not survive. Sad.
