What if everyone had to pass thru metal detectors in order to enter the general area? If they did that, I would think noone should have any fears about letting the protesters walk around wherever they want.
I don't think the protesters should be caged, but I also would not want some lunatic shooting at people or tasing people or whatever.
OH AND BTW you have your nuts on the right AND the left... Just seems to be a larger demographic and larger general number of people who protest from a leftist agenda. The hippies seem to be the ones terrorizing towns and starting riots and looting. Ask Seattle, Hell, ask Chicago, etc.

What are you talking about?

I covered the Democratic Convention in Chicago for the television station I worked for.

There were protest marches right down Madison Street, there were no cages.

Also, the protesters were very well behaved, I don't recall seeing any arrests, and I was in a position to see them if they were happening.

Attn...Feds...Denver cops...just set up a perimeter to contain them. Let anyone and everyone attend....they don't need no stinking security.(double negative intended) Just set up first aid stations and have the ambulances waiting.

BUT...all attendees must sign a waiver saying they will not sue authorities for any kind of negligence. You just know how this crowd likes to have it both ways.

Hey! Our little friends can organize some GREAT protests...loads of laughs. They did a puke-out protest some time back. That was a riot! I hope they can get THESE folks organized for a protest in Denver. I'd even buy a ticket to see it! I think the bald guy might be Zat.
