It's a trick, don't feed those people, John Bolton told me so. Diplomacy doesn't work...bomb them, kill them.

37,000 tons of Wheaties, the Breakfast of Champions?

Is that wise?

I understand that they are offering to blow up the Presidential Palace for 15 tons of Rucky Chahms.

There is already more than enough people on this planet to keep the global economy running efficiently. Subsidizing others only encourages them to continue to have children that the global economy doesn't really need.... leading to the need for more subsidy.

But that's the price we pay to keep war from happening today versus us being the frog in the pot with the temperature going up slowly.

Lil Kim DOES know how to posture for a payoff.

All the really important nuke stuff is stashed in a bunker someplace. He'll drag it back out again next time the world stops paying attention to him.

Did I say that? Damn. That's what I get for watching Friday's edition of NOW with David Broncoccio.

Was tough-talking anti-appeasement Bush suddenly possessed by the Ghost of Neville Chamberlain or what?

U.S. Food Aid Reaches North Korea

Gotta keep them terrorists fed!

BTW....Bolton = Cheney meaning Bush/Cheney aren't seeing eye to eye. Bush must be listening to Condi which is an improvement. Cheney is dangerous, we could survive til '09 if Bush would just ignore the neocons.

Appease and carrots?

A U.S. ship carrying 37,000 tons of wheat has arrived in North Korea, days after the North handed over its atomic declaration and blew up the cooling tower at its main nuclear reactor site. (From the sub line above).

Sounds very appropriate............but, not to some of you......

This food will go to their military, soldiers and pilots who don't even have socks. The people will continue to starve while trying to survive on sonnamul (mountain weeds). Their best hope is to overthrow Kim Jong Il themselves, as no one else is willing to help. Mianhamnida!

Here's a lesson for all the people who were calling Obama an appeaser.

An appeaser means you actually give something up, as in the case of Bush, it's wheat. Obama only said he would talk to other world leaders......hardly appeasement.

So, Obama, by the very definition of the word, is not an appeaser and BUSH IS AN APPEASER!

I know, I know, it stings a bit but suck it up and dry your eyes. Your boy is already considered the worst president in recorded history and this is ust one more thing to pile onto his sinking ship.

Sounds very appropriate............but, not to some of you......

Actually sounds very Clintonian.

Kinda reminds me of an email I recieved of coarse the Libs would disagree with all of it but here it is :
When in England, at a fairly large conference, Colin Powell was asked by the Archbishop of Canterbury if our plans for Iraq were just an example of empire building' by George Bush.

He answered by saying, 'Over the years, the United States has sent many of its fine young men and women into great peril to fight for freedom beyond our borders. The only amount of land we have ever asked for in return is enough to bury those that did not return.'

You could have heard a pin drop.
~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There was a conference in France where a number of international engineers were taking part, including French and American. During a break, one of the French engineers came back into the room saying 'Have you heard the latest dumb stunt Bush has done? He has sent an aircraft carrier to Indonesia to help the tsunami victims. What does he intended to do, bomb them?'
A Boeing engineer stood up and replied quietly: 'Our carriers have three hospitals on board that can treat several hundred people; they are nuclear powered and can supply emergency electrical power to shore facilities; they have three cafeterias with the capacity to feed 3,000 people three meals a day, they can produce several thousand gallons of fresh water from sea water each day, and they carry half a dozen helicopters for use in transporting victims and injured to and from their flight deck. We have eleven such ships; how many does France have?'
You could have heard a pin drop.
or this:
A U.S. Navy Admiral was attending a naval conference that included Admirals from the U.S., English, Canadian, Australian and French Navies. At a cocktail reception, he found himself standing with a large group of Officers that included personnel from most of those countries.
Everyone was chatting away in English as they sipped their drinks but a French admiral suddenly compl ained that, whereas Europeans learn many languages, Americans learn only English.' He then asked, 'Why is it that we always have to speak English in these conferences rather than speaking French?'
Without hesitating, the American Admiral replied 'Maybe it's because the Brits, Canadians, Aussies and Americans arranged it so you wouldn't have to speak German.'
You could have heard a pin drop.
Robert Whiting, an elderly gentleman of 83, arrived in Paris by plane . At French Customs, he took a few minutes to locate his passport in his carry on.
'You have been to France before, monsieur?' the customs officer asked sarcastically.
Mr. Whiting admitted that he had been to France previously
Then you should know enough to have your passport ready.'
The American said, ''The last time I was here, I didn't have to show it.
&n bsp;'Impossible. Americans always have to show your passports on arrival in France!'
The American senior gave the Frenchman a long hard look. Then he quietly explained, ''Well, when I came ashore at Omaha Beach on D-Day in 1944 to help liberate this country, I couldn't find a single Frenchmen to show a passport to.'
Not everything we do is a curse on the world some of you need to acknowledge all the good we do. Stop wining that the US is always evil
YEAH!
Speaking of Appropriate! Reminds me of the time a Self Proclaimed DR "christian" crooned in Glee about how US Sanctions resulted in "The Korean People" having to "Eat Bark"!
Yea us, I love patriotic speeches. Go team.
Fight, fight, fight. block that kick.
Thomphart-Or as the French said of Viet Nam and Iraq-"it's not like we didn't warn you."
Not everything we do is a curse on the world
Only voting Republican is always a curse on the world.
All that overblown oohrah bullshit is only to keep that one nagging ideal that eats at the back of your mind.
Our government has been corrupt for going on 100 years now. That was when it left a state of enlightened individualism to a state of corporate controlled corruption.
Further, every war we have been in has been contrived for business purposes.
That is how a founding member of the 'Axis of Evil' becomes a 'good buddy' in a few seasons time.
YEAH!
That you have a mind capable of reminding you of anything is quite amazing in and of itself.....now let's test it....who was the DR "christian"?
"Kinda reminds me of an email I recieved of coarse the Libs would disagree with all of it but here it is :
It is a lovely tale, too bad Colin Powell would now probably agree that it was empire building and American Oil Companies are now making no-bid contracts with the Iraqis...with the help of the US government.
"Or as the French said of Viet Nam and Iraq"
Nam I get; Too bad Wilson didn't.
Iraq?
[citation needed]
'Over the years, the United States has sent many of its fine young men and women into great peril to fight for freedom beyond our borders. The only amount of land we have ever asked for in return is enough to bury those that did not return.'
This is an old quote.....rehashed by Colon (Yes, that's how I spell it) Powell.
Is this ThomFar clown the old DoubtingThomas or FWThom?
"The last vestige of this administration's credibility is gone."
Comment from (deleted) in February of 2003.
And that was on our first meeting.
It's sad how this has all been systematically bungled.
It's as if it's on purpose.
Elementary, my dear Watson. They are all Moriarity.
Actually sounds very Clintonian.
Unless you actually know your history. Clinton wanted the NorKors to collapse, but Jimmy Carter shoved his evil ass into the middle of things (without asking President Clinton) and forced an agreement.
Thanks to Carter's meddling and Clinton's vacilation, millions of people have starved to death since then.
Is that what you mean by "Clintonian"?????
I missed that post. Seems that all the Christians here lamented the fact that North Koreans were starving because of calculating politicians like Carter and Bush.
Care to enlighten us Red? Or are you just a loudmouth finger-pointing asshole prick?
Attaboy Vermin!
Why do we feed our enemies? Are we f*****g stupid or what?
Why do we feed our enemies? Are we f*****g stupid or what?
Matthew Chapter 5
~Larry Mohr
Ah, the Sermon on the Mount.
That's a good one!
43 You have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thy enemy. 44 But I say to you, Love your enemies: do good to them that hate you: and pray for them that persecute and calumniate you
Here's a coupla others wot Spud is like.
Prov. 29:7. The righteous is concerned for the rights of the poor; the wicked does not understand such concern.
1 John 3:17. But whoever has the world's goods, and beholds his brother in need and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him?
Yeah, Spud's still an athiest/ recovering Catholic but if you remove the wheat from the chaff in there you'll find it really is a Good Book.
Be Well.
