larry - this JUST popped up at drudge.

it appears the oil companies want a share of the oil...it's becoming interestinger.

Conoco was until they merged with Phillips66. As per Your article They know the score. They aren't stupid.

Larry

Oh gee, what a surprise. I feel sorry for the morons who think that this war was not about oil.

Hell Danni I have been saying it since I arived here at the Retort some 4 Tears ago, They all called Me an idiot out of my mind full of shit traitor You name it. It doesn't take a lot of brains to have common sense. In fact I dare say usually those who lack brains have more common sense than the dude who has a 180 IQ who can't pour piss out of a boot with the instructions written upon the heel.

Larry

Nothing like using the military men and women to secure oil deals for corporate america.

I hope the parents of the 4000+ soldiers lost thus far don't mind their kids being used to get oil contracts for BigOil. Hope y'all don't mind paying for this fiasco, I'm sure ExxonMobil and the rest will cut us all in for a share of the profit they make in Iraq.

danni - read my link - iraq is holding out on signing the deals because the oil companies want a share of the oil - if i'm not mistaken.

SHOW ME THE OIL!

well they got something right.

"SHOW ME THE OIL!"

Damn right they are holding out in hopes that the US will leave before forcing them to privatize the oil and award PSAs to foreign oil companies who want up to 70% of the oil profits for the next 30 years.
Can't show you the oil but sure could show you the dead Americans. While you wait for someone to show you the oil other people's kids get killed daily.
