Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Senator Obama's statement at a Jacksonville, Florida fundraiser last Friday is being heralded as a brilliant political move by many in the MSM. It was, in fact, a shameless and unjustified insult to all Republicans, and all Americans.

To me, Obama's comments come accross as preemptively playing the victim card and the race card while simultaneously calling pretty much all Republicans a bunch of racists.

Here is the link to his actual comments:

I'd be curious as to what some of you others think about this, particularly this site's Obama supporters.

Well the audience thought it was great.

Oh, there's an objective headline. Where's the headline cop, Rob, when you need him?

That's how I intepretted his comments, Bill.

Your are more than welcome to offer a rebuttal.

"Well the audience thought it was great."

The Obamessiah is always thoughtful and appreciative....

"My fellow Americans:

As your future President I want to thank my supporters, for your mindless support of me, despite my complete lack of any legislative achievement, my pastor's relations with Louis Farrakhan and Libyan dictator Moamar Quadafi, or my blatantly leftist voting record while I present myself as some sort of bi-partisan agent of change.

I also like how my supporters claim my youthful drug use and criminal behavior somehow qualifies me for the Presidency after 8 years of claiming Bush's youthful drinking disqualifies him. Your hypocrisy is a beacon of hope shining over a sea of political posing.

I would also like to thank the Kennedy's for coming out in support of me. There's a lot of glamour behind the Kennedy name, even though JFK started the Vietnam War, his brother Robert illegally wiretapped Martin Luther King, Jr. And Teddy killed a female employee with whom he was having an extra marital affair and who was pregnant with his child. And I'm not going anywhere near the cousins, both literally and figuratively.

And I'd like to thank Oprah Winfrey for her support. Her love of meaningless empty platitudes will be the force that propels me to the White House.

Americans should vote for me, not because of my lack of experience or achievement, but because I make people feel good. Voting for me causes some white folk to feel relieved of their imagined, racist guilt.

I say things that sound meaningful, but don't really mean anything because Americans are tired of things having meaning. If things have meaning, then that means you have to think about them.

Americans are tired of thinking. It's time to shut down the brain, and open up the heart. So when you go to vote, remember, don't think, just do. And do it for me."

Thank You,
Barack Hussein Obama, Jr.

That's not a headline, that's an opinion. You changed the original headline in the link. But hey, that's ok. I'll feel free in the future to make up highly partisan headlines of my own. Stay tuned.

I'll feel free in the future to make up highly partisan headlines of my own.

Feel free.

That's not a headline, that's an opinion.

No, it's my presentation of what he said. Regarldess, I wasn't aware that interjecting my own bias into a headline was verboten.

PS - Do you have an opinion regarding Obama's comments that you'd like to share?

JJ

This is the second Obama headline he has pissed on this morning, let him have a coffee and do some aerobics (a smoke) and he might be in a better mood, for him anyway...

From all appearances he must of had a rough nite.....

"No, it's my presentation of what he said."

My presentation=my opinion.

"I wasn't aware that interjecting my own bias into a headline was verboten."

It's only verboten when the left does it. Just ask Rob_The_Headline_Cop.

"They're going to try to make you afraid of me. He's young and inexperienced and he's got a funny name. And did I mention he's black?"

This is Obama being racist? Honest? Or are you being sarcastic?

Some more drizzling shits from JeffJ twice in one day. I think we have a new record here.

Larry

Humor is lost on the rightie tighties.

thats my presentation of your presentation.

Then, in Justgettin's first sentence of his monologue attributed to Barack, he points out that Barack knows some scary black men.

Thanks for making his point Justtowin'thecompanyline.

Well Republicans do have a history of racial attacks, even on their own kind.

Republicans have a reputation that precedes them and Obama is very smart to get out ahead of their racial slander.

calling pretty much all Republicans a bunch of racists.

How you read "ALL REPUBLICANS" when he specifically was talking about those who run campaigns is a little thin skinned even for you don't ya think?

"We know what kind of campaign they're going to run..........."

And you think he was talking about ALL Republicans including you huh?

Well you're out of luck, as there is still no cure for stupid man. Your hatred for the black candidate is just going to have to remain running wild.

Obama's domestic policies will directly lead to a second civil war in America
