Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Even she, I think, by assailing Clinton in gender-heavy terms in column after column, went over the top this election season.

Good thing NOW didn't check the common-tatery around here. I doubt the Hall is big enough....

YEAH!

When watching Nature Shows with the girls depicting the instinctual rhythms of nature, and after witnessing the Hyena Eat the Lionesses Cubs, I seldom feel remorse for the Hyena when the Lioness rips its throat out ----- and visa versa.

In essence what I am saying is that you will find little sympathy for HRC in this context. She has hunted the Political Serengeti with success, employing many strategies, including "sexism", and is now being devoured by it.

That's just how it works --- Try to Suck it Up!

A woman being accused of sexism?

Bwaaahhhaaaaahaaaaaaaaaa

OMG!

I am getting so tired with all the Clintonista whinning!

Gwad, you guys need therapy, seriously. You need some profesional help in coping witht he fact that Hillary did not win the primaries.

-Try to Suck it Up!

Perhaps I would, but I doubt that I could compete with you in the sucking category.

The irretrievably lame, "everyone does it" excuse, fails miserably when the "everyone" is, "Chris Matthews, Mike Barnicle, Tucker Carlson or, for that matter, (Bloody Bill) Kristol".

"A woman being accused of sexism?

Bwaaahhhaaaaahaaaaaaaaaa"

In this particular case maybe not, but it can happen.

Its not about sympathy for HRC, IMO. Its about the lengths people are willing to go in order to tear down a woman.

I've been saying this for a while, but Maureen Dowd sucks, no matter who or what she writes about... like a moderately talented high school kid in a creative writing class.

reading her op-eds is like reading the enquirer.

Maybe the reason why they are "tearing her down" has more to do with her being a Clinton than a women?

Just a thought.

I felt this cut from the article was pretty telling about the slant....

"She said that she was more concerned about references that, consciously or unconsciously, seemed to cast doubt on Clinton as a serious leader, like a sentence in an article last month that said Clinton "may not have passed the commander in chief test" with voters."

Huh??? Hilary had no reluctance to cast doubt on Barrack Obama's passing of the same test.

Maybe the reason why they are "tearing her down" has more to do with her being a Clinton than a women?

Just a thought.

Maybe, but its about the tactics, not the reasoning behind their employment.

The tactics of much of the Press, and of other Obama supporters, was mainly to try to out-Rethug the 90's Rethugs they once hated.

Maybe. I think it's similar to how much of the nation's disapproval of the war in Iraq is based on the fact that it looks like we're not winning, and not that we're there at all in the first place.

As long as we're on the winning side, the means are justified by the ends, i guess.

Interesting you should say that. Obama is now moving to the middle, a place that Hil occupied believing that Libs would forgive her in the primary for positions that would let her win in the fall.

Obama is closing his eyes to public financing and Federal eavesdropping, seemingly snubbing Muslims... all in an effort to get to the middle ground where America will, as you say, stand for a war if we are winning.

Soon, he will go to Iraq and, I predict, find that the "surge" has indeed worked on the ground, and, he will "discover", has worked enough politically so that he can start to casually drop his 16 month plan for something that doesn't really require timetables now that we are "winning".

How's that for moving to the middle?

*Shrugs. There's more than one reason that I'm registered independent. It's less important for me to be on the winning side than it is for me to be on what I believe is the right side.

Before it is all over, the last remaining argument for Obama over McCain will be that at least he's better than McCain. A platform against something rather than for something.

God, this stuff is really making me sick.

Who was it who said, "when the people think they have a choice, you give them a choice"...?
