Zimbabwe is free, free at last.
There is no more Rhodesia.
The evil white man who so badly exploited the blacks has been driven out, and the lands that the whites cultivated have been seized by blacks.
The country which was once the breadbasket of Africa, now is in a dismal state, but remember what counts, they are "free," and we can observe how they manage their affairs.
"Free, free at last," may be the gateway for African blacks to far more miserable and dismal lives than they lived previously.
The Union of South Africa is also descending into chaos. The reality of liberation from white rule and eventual expulsion or voluntary emigration of whites, may result in insufficient numbers of capable people remaining to maintain the affluence and viability of the countries.
Much of subSaharan Africa has degenerated with the withdrawal of the colonial powers. Now the Asians are enering to provide in some degree, the knowledge and expertise necessary to sustain those countries.
Can the indigenous people acquire the skill sets necessary to maintain a civilization requiring the degree of technical knowledge and sophistication necessary to maintain those countries at levels of prosperity that they enjoyed under colonial rule? Or do the indigenous peoples of subSaharan Africa lack the distribution of intelligence necessary to achieve such a result?
