Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee said Sunday he'd like to be John McCain's running mate. "There's no one I would rather be on a ticket with than John McCain," said Huckabee.

No.

Wait. YES.

That way we could decide the election in August.

A Baptist preacher as VP.

Swell.

I am a christian and I am not sure if I want Huckabee in the Whitehouse. He will have blood on his hands that doesn't need to be there. Remember what Jesus said about setting your heart in this world.

Not too many things would please both creationists and those who are not going to vote for a Republican anyway. But this would.

He's already willing to shoot Obama.
Please John, go with Sirhan Huckleberry.

As a Democrat I would like to see this ticket, McCain/Huckabee, but come on even the Fucked up Partisian Republicians cannot be that stupid!!!

Oh I don't know, Young Rick, it's worked out quite well for Pat Robertson.

It might be a dream ticket. One guy who believes the world is 6000 years old and the other guy the butt of a bunch of Methuselah jokes.

wait till mccain tells him to go fuck himself

even the Fucked up Partisian Republicians cannot be that stupid!!!

Sure they could.

When your candidate will be 72 when taking office - in one of the most stressful and exhausting jobs in the world - your VP better not just be an afterthought or a political calculation. There's a significant chance he could end up President. McCain's VP is going to be scrutinized like no other.

Go Huckabee!

McCain needs a Conservative, not a populist like Huck. I think Huck is just maneuvering for a future race.

Sorry Huck, the jobs already sewed up by Mitt-Jillionaire-Flipney... and can anybody argue that he wouldn't be the best qualified hatchet man ? Right in there with Darth.

****When your candidate will be 72 when taking office ****

........don't worry.......he won't take office.......

Its not who is on the republican ticket you libs need to worry about its who Obama picks. He can't pick anyone with intelligence and experience like Joe Biden because it will only show more why the top of the democrat ticket is so weak. He can't pick Hillary because he has already had his friends in the media tear her apart.

Here's a few suggestions for Obama running mate:

1. Keith Olbermann: Well he's had his nose up Obama's ass long enough to deserve it.

2. Krusty the clown: At least they would get some laughs before going down.

3. O.J. Simpson: They would probably lock up the black vote and the convict vote as well.

4. Dennis Kucinich: This would lock up the alien vote. Maybe even the illegal alien vote too.

5. Arnold Schwarzenegger: Curious George and Arnold what a dou that would make. Pundits could spend all day debating who was the most liberal big spending democrat of the two. Of course Arnolds charisma would make Obama look like a dry turd.

6. Al Gore: At least he's had some experience around the white house. Yes I know he's crazy from losing Florida and the 2000 election but he makes a nice stuffed suit next to the empty suit. He might even let Obama play with his internet.

7. Elliot Spitzer: He knows his way around DC or so I hear. He's also good at picking up white chicks. Of course he could just make him attorney general. I mean after Janet Reno anything would be an improvement.

8. Jim McGreevey: Hey this would get him the gay and bisexual vote as well as the gay trucker vote.

SEE YOU IN DENVER!!!

Bee Swell

........it doesn't really matter who Obama picks or who McCain picks as second bananas.......

.......will Americans vote for four more years of Bush ????.......

.......thats the only question........you know the answer.......

I don't know will America vote for a 2nd Jimmy Carter?

I know the answer: NO

......Obama is not Carter.......

.......but McCain is Bush..........

Obama is worse than Carter! At least Carter had been a governor.

Bee Swell

........even though Americans as a whole are practically retarded.......

.......even they understand that our standard of living has declined over the past 8 years......

.......they will vote to get rid of the ideology that fueled the decline........

.......to think otherwise is to not be thinking at all.......

McBush Pick Huckabee. Please!

Obama/Webb 2008

Huckabee the minister was asked his opinion of the recent finding that humans were fishing for food over 50,000 years ago. as he believes in a 6000 year old earth he deflected the question with "there is no proof of that". as vice president he will surely bring his bible and make efforts to implement biblical law.

wow, really stupid!

It's just a streak.

youporn.com

What a streak.

At least Carter had been a governor.

so had Dubya and what a failure HE turned out to be.

Your point?

Actually, Clinton had been a governor and turned out to be a great President, so it could go either way, but Miley toasted himself with his let's shoot the nigger joke.

You know this because that's the exact same thing you were thinking in 2000 when Bush picked Cheney, right?

The idea that the same people who cheered Bush into office use Obama's experience as an issue is one of the most laughable parts of this campaign.

"Huckabee added: 'It wasn't the first dumb thing I've ever said. And ... it won't be the last dumb thing I've ever said.'"

Could there be a correlation between this remark and something else (i.e. generally, a plethora of dumb remarks come from dumb people) ?

Nope.

FF! Maybe it was for lack of litmus testing?:]

Who wants to be associated with some racist Baptist preacher other than other racist Baptists?

I love it. One person who believes the earth is 6000 years old, and the only one who could remember if it weren't for his "senior moments"

Hey Crackpipe, Vernon - When Obama becomes President (and he will, so sorry on that...) you know what I've heard:

He's gonna round up all you conservative christian types and dump you in those empty prisons that Bush and FEMA have built around the country.

But fortunately for you, your new Warden Huckabee will be an appeaser - jus' like Col. Clink! and you gonna get extra biscuits an' soap

Spread the Word!

(Countdown till this rumor shows up at the FreeRepublic, or that other bastion of conservative thinking, The National Enquirer, begins now...1...2...3...4...)

After Huckabee's remark to the NRA about Obama hitting the floor after hearing a gun, what do you think?

I personally think it's a lock- anyone who can say something that tasteless and unfeeling is a worthy successor to Dick Cheney.

I stand corrected: Countdowns look like this 1000...999...998... uh - D'oh!

Maybe we should send Huckabee and Cheney on a hunting trip. Whoever comes back can take the VP slot!

Heya.. I know that Obama will obviously win the popular vote, however, Clinton could steal it ala Diebold. Same machines, same outcome.

I trust the Clintons as much as the Bush. Not one fucking bit.

How could a McCain/Clinton ticket be achieved? It seems that would serve all of their interests.

Exactly! So many more Black Americans are going to vote then ever before. Hopefully, this particular race issue works on everyone's behalf.

Obama is playing a shrewd game. Not quite distancing himself from Bush issues - Iraq, Iran and Israel. He has Michelle who impresses me, but even if he takes office how can he disengage us from the Middle East entanglement? Israel absolutely must remove settlements, rebuild Palestinian territories and prove they aren't committing genocidal activities. We have a lot of records implicating our CIA with their terrorism on Arab civilians. If they aren't going to sell the Iraqi oil they are thieving to Europe, perhaps it is actually intended for China? China and Israel.. have been developing interesting relations - not just the book tour variety.

England's Tony Blair has joined with the Carlisle Group in a multi-billion paycheck - ludicrous timing.
Cheney's Halliburton connections have not kept the oil costs down, but rather have inflated them.
Bush headed the Arbusto failure with a 75% write-off and we see similar over-inflation techniques during his rein: the "dot com bubble", "manufacturing bubble", "housing bubble", "oil bubble" and the persistent devaluing of the dollar, apparently for China's sake.

What was the purpose of that Chinese sub appearing in the midst of US war games? To provoke what kind of response? Israel doesn't sell their latest gear for our efforts in Iraq, then to whom? Back to Empire Strikes Back!

How could a McCain/Clinton ticket be achieved? It seems that would serve all of their interests.

Would an immanent threat bring the "two" parties together? Maybe some serious tabulation errors? What if Obama were "disappeared"?

Why exactly did Pelosi "take impeachment off the table" once the Democrats became majority? Another highly suspect, ill-timed maneuver.

3. O.J. Simpson: They would probably lock up the black vote and the convict vote as well

LOL that is actually partially true. So many Black people think he is innocent. When you understand that 90%+ vote democrat, then it becomes easier to explain.

LOL good one Crackpipe.

You know the democrats are lame when their first argument why not to elect McCain is that he IS BUSH.

Thats all you can say? And you say it first?

Pathetic.

Kuma

The second reason not to elect McCain is that he is Bush.
The third reason not to elect McCain is that he is Bush.
The fourth reason not to elect McCain is that he is Bush.
The fifth reason not to elect McCain is that he is Bush.
The sixth reason not to elect McCain is that he is Bush.
The seventh reason not to elect McCain is that he is Bush.
The eighth reason not to elect McCain is that he is Bush.
The ninth reason not to elect McCain is that he is Bush.
etc.

Keep going with that, that will work.

Kuma

It's simplicity is beautiful isn't it?

We'll see if McCain isn't terrified of that very possibility.

I don't think Bush will have a very active campaigning calendar in the summer and fall.

I don't think Rev Wright will either? Do you? Fuckhead?

But he will have his stupid wife, to remind everyone how she hates the USA.

So thats cool.

Liebermann been too quite of late...

Bani, what do you think will bring us together?

Absolutely nothing. Death. Thats it.

if illegal immigration and 19 Muslims crashing planes into our shit didn't bring us together, nothing will, he fucking hate each other and it can't be fixed.

Kuma

"Bush: Oil Problems Our Fault"

Fuck, I read this again, and now I am pissed.

Bush is so stupid, the guy is TERRIBLE. He fucking says this after he has been in charge for 7+ fucking years?

Damn, this guy is an asshole.

Kuma

Bush is the uniter, remember?:>)lol

The ironic thing about this whole thing Bani, is that Bush is by far the most left leaning President we had in our life times. If you look at everything hes done, except maybe 2 things, its all something democrats favored.

And yet you hate him.

I cannot imagine if we get a REAL republican in there, what you will do.

In inner circles on the Republican party, on the street, at the dinner table, etc, Bush is hated by people like me because he is a social liberal to the very core, AND a globalist.

There is no difference between a Democrat in that seat or Bush, EXCEPT these issues:

tax cuts and Supreme Court justices. Other than that, he is a democrat in our eyes.

Kuma

Other than that, he is a democrat in our eyes.

And yet you all voted for him - twice.

McCain is so NOT Bush--

As for his VP--MN governor Pawtley (sp)--maybe Crist in FL.

Obama--who knows--can't pick Hillary--maybe he'll pick someone like Ayres--

He has terrible judgment when it comes to choices.

He'll pick someone who is smarter than him--because everyone is smarter than him...
