BALLA, India -- Villagers in this rural Indian village several hours from New Delhi are celebrating the savage murder of two young adults -- a 22-year-old man and 21-year-old woman who was 22-weeks pregnant -- who broke caste rules against marrying someone from their own village. "From society's point of view, this is a very good thing," said 62-year-old farmer Balwan Arya, sitting smoking a hookah in the shade of a tree in a square with other elders from the village council or panchayat. "We have removed the blot."
