I wonder if Louis Farrakahn or Wright helped with this literature?

Obama's Kentucky flier shows Obama at the pulpit with a giant cross in the background. Its text reads "Faith. Hope. Change."

"My faith teaches me that I can sit in church and pray all I want," it says. "But I won't be fulfilling God's will unless I go out and do the Lord's work."

So, do all of you religious hating leftwing hacks that kneel at the Obama Alter have a problem with the flier?

I wonder if God whispers in his ear and tells him to invade other countries that have not attacked us.

Comparing Bush and Obama really helps your cause.
I see that more and more often lately.

All of the things you guys attacked Bush for (religion, mis-speaking, and lack of experience) seem to be surfacing with Obama yet are roundly ignored by you sycophants.

We worship the holy Sack of Barack, and live to admire his sacred package.

--DR Left

No, but He told Obama to put the American flag pin back on.......

and promised that none of this would be viewed as pandering.

More votes for Nader.

[None of the above.] for president.

Faith. Hope. Change.

You Omamites claimed he's more than "Hope and Change", and you were Wright. He's "Faith" too.

How lovely. Black Bush.

"the Obama Alter"

What does it turn him into? A Crowne Royal shooting, Yuengling chasing, revolver twirling cracker?

Ah, another great thread featuring the 3 C's: Corky, Cookie, and the Chair.

So, the Hardly Boys, Doc and Dopey, finally show-up but have no excuses for their hypocritical Pander Bear candidate.

How usual.

When are atheists going to get their own candidate so they won't have to go through all this embarrassment, eh?

"go through all this embarrassment"

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

"...but have no excuses for their hypocritical Pander Bear candidate."

What excuses would be needed? Obama has spoken openly on many occasions about his faith and beliefs.

Now is he'd swilled a beer with a (Canadian) whiskey shot chaser I'd be upset.

You need some new material, Doc. Perhaps the reverse lobotomy wasn't the right move after all.

"So, do all of you religious hating leftwing hacks that kneel at the Obama Alter have a problem with the flier?"

the difference is

some of the "swing" states think he's a muslim
this addresses that problem

and personally i like people with faith
of any kind

especially the kind that don't force me to change mine.

To me, the flier is saying that words without deed are meaningless. It doesn't say that Obama thinks it is God's will that he be president. Bush, however, did make that claim as did others, like Pat Robertson, on his behalf.

Kentucky didn't elect Harold Ford and he's about as straight an arrow as they come. Instead they choose some hick from Chattanooga (Read: Appalachia). So Obama could be anointed by the Second Coming and he'd still lose the Kentucky primary.

You need some new material, Doc...Corky the Seamstress

When the alterations are done, Iron My Shirt Bitch.

How lovely. Black Bush.

No, actually, I think Kentucky didn't elect Harold Ford because he ran for office in Tennessee.

There are differences.

Having grown up in southern Illinois, I know that there are about 13 different countries just on the other side of the Ohio ocean.

Sorry to do this Chair, but you get the BUZZZZ - Incorrect sound effect on that reference.

His name was Raj. :)

His name was Roger. Raj is the spelling of the Indian (dot) name so I didn't spell it that way.

How would Rcade spell the abreviation of his name? I've never known a Roger, but I assume "Raj" is the Indian name and "Rog" would be the abreviated "Roger".

"Kentucky didn't elect Harold Ford and he's about as straight an arrow as they come."

I'm sure you know a lot about that election and you just FORGOT that it took place in TN. HERE is the REAL reason Ford was defeated...in TN, not KY.

www.nytimes.com

en.wikipedia.org(politician)

I have to say I'm interested in getting the answer. Wiki does use "Raj", but I can't determine if it's a phonetic thing or the real deal.

Obama did not say that God chose him to do anything.

That makes 101 a liar, and this thread a lie.

Whomever said BuffaloBob wasn't an observant one was way off of the mark!

Man, there's no foolin' that guy!

Obamas campaign flier does not say it is Gods will.

I wonder why he was always looking for work? Didn't he own a 7-11?

Perhaps he should start a thread regarding aliens and moon landings.....that sort of "truth" would suit him better.

lol

That race was alot closer than you'd make it out to be and it was lost due in large part to that "call me, harold" ad where it implied that he was out sleeping with white women.

God figured he really blew it choosing Bush to run - he is just trying, as he does frequently, to make amends.

Also that earthquake in China was a tiny mistake, oops.

I would describe my self as prolife personally, prochoice politically...but...

BHO "But I won't be fulfilling God's will unless I go out and do the Lord's work."

Obama and Babies Born Alive
www.townhall.com

Personally it doesn't make one bit of difference whether Obama adds an element of faith to his campaign. It won't sway my vote one way or the other. I vote based on policies and whether I agree with them based on the information I have at the time.

Instead they choose some hick from Chattanooga (Read: Appalachia

OzarkAggie,

With all due respect, this shows your ignorance of Chattanooga. By invoking Appalachia you are creating an image of the city that quite frankly just doesn't apply. I was born there and lived there for the first part of my life, I also continue to visit there frequently since I still have long time family friends that live there.

Lookout Mountain and Signal Mountain that frame the valley are populated by the VERY rich with some middle class areas. The Davenport family, which were friends of my mothers and actually gave her a baby shower gift when she was pregnant with me as well as a beautiful hand crafted goose egg Christmas ornament which hangs on my tree every year, are the founders of the Krystals fast food chain and live on Lookout Mountain. Most homes on the two mountains run in the price range of millions of dollars.

The valley is largely poor and black, but not any where near as poor as the moniker of "Appalachia" would have people believe. I grew up mostly in this area at the foot of Lookout Mountain.

The idea that Chattanooga is a hick town is just plain ignorant (notice I don't say it is stupid, just ignorant) as anyone that has spent time there will tell you.

Pander Bears are white, black, and fluffy.

Perhaps he should start a thread regarding aliens and moon landings.....that sort of "truth" would suit him better.

lol

There are facts to back up my statements about the moon landings. There are no facts to support 101's lies.

Obama did not say god chose him to run.

His campaign flier did not say it was god's will.

That makes 101 a liar--and you a fool.

To me, the flier is saying that words without deed are meaningless. It doesn't say that Obama thinks it is God's will that he be president. Bush, however, did make that claim as did others, like Pat Robertson, on his behalf.

I believe you are correct, this is the message. The spin meisters will try their best to spin that mind you. I don't know if this will dispel the 'secret muslim' myth though, because this could all be part of the secret, lol. That's the thing with conspiracy theorists mind sets, everything could be part of the conspiracy.

Obama did not say god chose him to run.

His campaign flier did not say it was god's will.

I know you're old and dumb, but this thread was created to point out how the 'Bush calls Obama a Nazi Appeaser' thread was a ridiculous leap.

Now go back to the Lazy Boy and finish off that nap you crusty old fart.

I know you're old and dumb

And bitter.

Bush did call Obama a Nazi appeaser--much more so that Obama said God chose him

You and Bush are liars.

Ho hum--what a surprise.

By facts, delusional Bob means doctored YouTube videos.

Obama: God has chosen me to run

Deja vu. Didn't we just go thru this "God wants me to be President" crap with that simpleton disaster that's been sitting in the Oval Office the last eight years? God didn't do such a good job picking the last one. Not sure I want to hand Him the job of picking the next President after what this country went through with George "God chose me" Bush.

"I was never a fetus."

Neither one happened you stupid old shit.

Were YOU a fetus? What was it like in there? What was your first thought? Were you there before your eyes developed or after? Did you feel your eyes develope? How about your heart? Did you feel that develope too? I never met anyone who was once a fetus. Tell us what it felt like before you had skin. You must know--you were there

Live or Die

Are you going to be a corpse too? Will they bury you--or just your remains. Do you think you will feel your skin decay and fall away from your bones, just like you felt your skin and bones forming when you were in your mothers womb? Maybe you weren't actually a fetus. Maybe you won't be a corpse. Maybe you can't define "YOU". Yep, I think that's it. You can't define "YOU". Do you think YOU were ever two cells? If you do--you should be able to explain your thoughts and emotions at the time. If you can't recall those experiences--maybe you didn't experience them--maybe you weren't there.

;-)

Did anybody bother to trace the source of the Fox "News" article? It seems the Fox "journalists" didn't even bother to check the actual flier, which states:

"my faith teaches me that I can sit in church and pray all I want, but I won't be fulfilling God's will unless I go out and do the Lord's work."

They just decided to report on the article (from CBN news, run by the 700 Club, the home of Pat Robertson) itself.

"my faith teaches me'

That is the most stupid excuse for a sentence I have ever seen.

I have pear trees smarter than you.

Well My lack of faith in You zat(And a few others) teaches Me greatly. THAT is for certain.

Larry Mohr

Well, I'm glad that Obama has finally found God, accepted Jesus as his Savior, and hopefully believes in salvation by faith insted of acts,as based on his conduct, Obama'd probably have a difficult time getting in on that basis.

But he, Obama, whatever his posture, certainly cannot sing some of our old hymns such as "Give Me That Old Time Religion."

Give me that old time religion.
Give me that old time religion.
Give me that old time religion.
It's good enough for me.

It was good enough for my mother.
It was good enough for my father.
It's good enough for my children.
And it's good enough for me.

No. Wait. Lies. Lies. Lies. His mother was an atheist, and the second wife of a Muslim. His father was a Muslim. This old time religion wasn't good enough for them.

Obama the narcistic appeaser--
