I think there is a difference when it comes to writing, and blog posting.

also I am assuming that they also mean that they don't even know they made the error....I'm sure when you typo a post, as soon as you see it, you know it.

not only how many mistakes but how much faster are we today at typing then the writers of old

also today we just blog
we type with our hearts and click ok before proof reading.

The last time I typed with my heart it took weeks to clean the blood off the keyboard. I don't recommnend it.

That's curious because most of the spelling errors that glare out at me come from the foam-at-the-mouth liberals who can't function without marching orders from the Daily Kos or Huffington Post or Moveon.org.

Fucking pseudo-intellectuals make me giggle when they make spelling or grammatical errors.

Speaking of grammatical errors. Where is everyone's favorite tuber? This place isn't the same without his inane chatter.

It's not a possession of superior intellect, sugar. It's a matter of giving enough of a shit to make sure I spell things correctly, and it's a matter of making sure I have, at least some semblance, of good sentence structure.

See, I paid attention in my private school. I learned that a person's writing is a reflection of the person. If the ever-so-enlightened liberals of this site don't give enough of a shit to make sure they spell correctly, what does it say about their politics?

It's simple-minded humor at best. You don't have to be super smart to figure it out, but the possession of a few functioning brain cells is a requirement.

Let's take a recent quote from Celisary.

Read the whole statement all the way through. In the same paragraph where he calls the person "Live or Die" a "dumbfuck" he has several glaring typos and grammatical errors. Now, I'm not sure if "Live or Die" is a dumbfuck, but it defiantly looks like Celisary can't spell.

I don't have a habit of pointing these things out all of the time because doing so cheapens the discussion. If it were something that I caught randomly while reading threads it wouldn't even register, but because Celisary likes to couple calling Republicans and Conservatives "dumbfucks" coupled with his shitty spelling and grammar, it becomes amusing...at least to me.

So you see, it's not a matter of me being smarter than the "foam-at-the-mouth liberal". It is a matter of me giving enough of a shit to at least check to make sure I spelled something correctly when I call someone else a "fucking moron".

That so many adults are unable to write with out errors is true. Myself and most of the posters on the DR make mistakes, as for being adults?

Why is it that ALL Politicians(sorry) can't even think with out errors?

Of course, because then you don't have to worry about actually responding to an argument, you just point your finger at their "mistakes" and I guess that makes you feel better about yourself. Which is important, because I sense you don't have much self-confidence.

No amount of tutoring will ever teach me how to type correctly. I am still a "hunt & peck", 20 wpm typist. So, if folks want perfection, they'd better read Shakespeare, not this.

There really ought to be a content analyses. Take any thread, label ten "libs" and ten righties and see how many errors each makes. I'll bet the homestead that righties make twice as many errors. herm
