How many head to head debates were there? How many debates between just Hillary and Obama? Why would any candidate refuse to debate? So you've said everything before---say it again--not everyone heard you. How many times has Bush brought up 911? Just because a subject has been discussed before, doesn't mean it can't be discussed again. Bush talked about 911 more than 23 times in just one speech. Obama didn't do so well in the last debate. Can he stand up to the pressure necessary to be President?

The only problem with him is that he has a voting record of a far right wing social conservative, which is anti-libertarian.

I truly think Hillary should run as an independent. Yes I know if she won it would fuck up the country but I feel the same about Obama and his magic dreams without actual stated facts to back them up.

She would have a very good chance in all honesty. Right now she is the stronger democratic candidate and with her strong support in New York and California it would be tuff to beat her.

Why exactly are debates important? How often does a president actually have to DEBATE issues? I'd prefer a president who's a little more flexible and ready to concede when confronted with obviously superior ideas. I'd like to have a president who is willing to hire specialists who are better informed in their specific jobs than s/he is and takes their counsel seriously. A good debater is nothing more than an egotistical child, more inclined to throw tantrums than to act with reason. We've had one of those for almost eight years now. Not that he wa a good debater, either...

Larry, name calling aside my statement was in reference to Hillary's win at all cost attitude. For the same reason she continues in the democratic race she should run as an independent. That reason is she wants to be president.

The same can be said of Barrack. He knows he does not have the experience to be president but yet selfishly is running and the country be damned. 2 years in the senate does not qualify one to be president. During those 2 years he has been an absentee senator.

Well, the Constitution established the Courts to decide such issues. If you think you can win, take it to court. That is your Constitutional right.

Find a tax court that agrees with you.
The Gov't points to the magnitude of cases they've won. All you have to do is find one.

I'm sure you weren't chiming in about the pathetic performances of those asking the questions during the debates. Hillary at least challenged Obama to something new, something that would be GREAT to see happen in both parties' primaries.

It's why Paul couldn't debate McCain, or anyone else properly, because those asking the questions gave him minimal time to speak because they deemed him not a serious candidate. Head to head, without a moderator deciding who gets to speak and when, and what questions they'll get to address, Paul would have had a much better chance to get his word out against the others.

Maybe not cowardice, but the so called leader of new politics not participating in something that could potentially change politics just seems off. It would be GREAT if candidates actually had to defend their positions more than their hair cuts, hobbies, etc...
