Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

In Indiana, 10 percent of Democratic primary voters described themselves as Republicans.
In Indiana, six in 10 Republicans who supported Clinton on Tuesday said they would vote for presumptive GOP nominee John McCain over Clinton in the fall.

So what that means is that 6% of the total votes for Hillary were Republicans trying to screw with the system.

That means that Obama really won Indiana by 4 points. That takes the wind out of the sails even more for the Clinton 'win' in Indiana.

YEAH!

Gotta Love Those "Conservative Principles"!

Must be using the Bush Cult Approved abbreviated Pocket Version!

I wonder if any of those Six out of Ten will directly thank the Soldiers for Fighting for their right to cheapen the Entire process!

The one good think about Operation Chaos is that now the real Democratic Party is being exposed. For years Dems have told how Whte Republicans were racist and how saintly and tolerant Democrats were. But now we have the KKKlintons arguing that they should be the nominees all to indulge the whims of racist white Democrats who won't vote for Obama.

Ah, this is great! The Democrats have been taking the black for granted for decades. Will blacks finaly wake up? I sure hope so.

Decades before the Repubs took the blacks for granted too. You never know they may shift. Not with the current crop of leaders mind you.

What's funny is you don't hear a lot of this on the news (or at least I'm not seeing it). With Clinton winning by 14000 votes, it's quite clear that republican intervention gave her the state.

I guess we're back to assuming people don't lie on exit polls. When exit-polling gave Kerry Ohio in 2004, Republicans labeled them sociopaths. Funny how that works.

On the Red Stae blogs, there seem to be two camps currently---

Camp One thinks Republicans this year would be in great shape provided---

A) George Bush had been a better "communicator"

B) Everyone were as smart as Red State bloggers are (Christ, they hammer that one home).

Camp Two thinks the Republican brand is ruined for the time being, so just deal with it.

Lying is a possibility, I'll give you that. But there is still Operation Chaos floating around in the ether. Unless you think those white guys saying that were Dems having some fun? I don't know what the motivation would be.

As with the Kerry exit polling, it still brings in the question of machine fraud. Were the exit polls actually that wrong?

"Were the exit polls actually that wrong....?"

If you follow Republican mythology, they would have to be.

In my opinion, Rush understands that the only way McCain can win is if the Democrats SERIOUSLY take their eyes off the ball.

Rush makes me laugh. A few weeks ago the man was stating a McCain win would be worse for the country than a Democratic one.

What changed his mind? I think he thinks he personally wields more personal influence with Republicans in than Republicans out.

Shallow hypocrite? You bet. But, as one of his fans put it, as long as he makes scads of money it doesn't matter.

I wonder if any of those Six out of Ten will directly thank the Soldiers for Fighting for their right to cheapen the Entire process!

Give it up Red. You've been flogging this horse for days, and he ain't gonna trot.

I seriously doubt that any soldiers in Iraq are fighting to preserve the purity of politics.

As for cross-over voters, these open primaries were manufactured by Democrats after disasters like McGovern, Mondale and Carter. If anybody is trying to game the system it's been Dems.

I think it's heathy that in later primaries voters can still participate; we've gotten too focused on Iowa and New Hampshire.

Why do you want to disenfranchise the votes of millions of other people? Or are you just mad because someone you despise has had some fun using Dem-written rules?

YEAH!

Except it's only been one day, and there is no reference to "purity of politics" anywhere ---- as Dr Strangelove that may sound!

What it does say, directly and implied, is that the "system" we live under, more commonly referred to as "Our Way of Life", the one where men and women have died to preserve, (IE CONSERVE) has been cheapened just for "some fun" by some draft deferring, non serving, zero contribution slugs!

This is simply about "Principle" ----- "principle" that apparently some members of the "Party of Principle" have no issue in breaking!

noun
an accepted or professed rule of action or conduct: a person of good moral principles.

Now I know a few gradute officers from VMI, some already serving and some leaving soon, and I would like test your theory and send Limbaugh to Iraq and in the field have him boast and brag how he manhandled to his own desire the very principles these men and women put their lives on the line to defend everyday! My guess, knowing the sense of duty that drives these men to commit to what they do, is that he wouldn't be making the trip backing in an ambulatory condition!

Still beating the horse, I see.

OK, maybe it has only been one day, but there's something about your posts that make them seem to go on forever.

Fine, test the theory. You'll find that soldiers serve because they took an oath, and because their friends rely on them.

As far as Our Way of Life, now you're just trying to parse words. You don't like my use of 'purity' because it points out that your point is idiotic.

OK, we'll try it your way. The open primary system is legal. Cross-over voters are not breaking any laws, but simply expressing their will through the ballot box.

What soldier could be against that?

You don't like it? Work to change the law back to the smoke filled rooms of long ago.

I suppose Limbaugh did not break any rules to warrant prosecution THIS time, but he accentuates a flaw in the good old Murrican system. Not that I wouldn't do the same if I could to any Re-ugly-can primary, but if rational people don't amend the rules now, we'll make the system just a little worse. Not merely corporate bucks telling us how to vote, but media hate merchants turning the whole thing into a parody. Meanwhile let's nominate O'Bama and get on with the world. herm

Rush Limbaugh is a drug addict.

good to see rush aint carrying no more water
