lmgdao.

This guy will refuse to testify based on his oath of loyalty to the vice president, and bush will pardon him. That simple.

It's not like the dem's have the juevos to prevent it.

"It's not like the dem's have the juevos to prevent it."

You're confusing "juevos" with "Constitution".

(Not that the dems have juevos, on that I agree.)

Ahh, if I had written "constitution" that would have been sarcasm.

I was being serious. Sadly. Seriously.

Bush/Cheney are above the law while they are in office.

Yeah well good luck with that. Congress has sure had a lot of luck with getting anyone in the Shrub mis-administration to answer subpoenas. Actually, this is sort of funny....does anyone on Capitol Hill actually think this time will be different?

It's an election season so they have to give the appearance that they have a set. The results will be the same.

And as soon as they're out of office, we'll have some douche, Dem or GOP, telling us that what the people want is to move forward (that's the ol' 'impeachment is off the table' crap).

Makes them above the law after office too, doesn't it?

Cheney has aides?

I got all excited about this until I read the word "Aide" :(

OH shit, its over now.

So?

House members are really tough. They're going to have a meaningless comittee meeting to investigate and if they find something they can't do anything about it because they have no power. Maybe they could ivestgate high gas prices, big oil, Gitmo, or the war in Iraq. Who cares. What a bunch of cowards!

Do you mean just like BJ Willie? If I remember, he got away with rape and lying to a grand jury, not to mention his war crimes of killing 7500 US service men in some undeclaired wars.

As for these guys being above the law...we shall see. They did violate the law...now will anyone be able to hold them accountable is the question.

I sure liked seeing the Office of Special Counsel being raided yesterday by 19 FBI agents...THAT was a good sign.
