RIP. He brought me the joy my mother's shriveled breasts never could.

That sucks. He created by far the best mint chocolate chip ice cream ever.

Life is a rocky road, and Mr. Robbins helped make our travel on it just a little less vanilla*. RIP, dude. May you melt in peace.

(*Not that there's anything wrong with vanilla!)

As per his will, Baskin-Robbins will now be offering 32 flavors.

Ness, I knew there was a joke in there somewhere!

I gotta say their Pistachio Almond is outa this world.

One of the founder's sons objects to the business because of what the product does to your veins (all milk products). He won't touch the stuff.

"He won't touch the stuff."

But I'll bet he cashes the royalty checks.

His cousin Sybil Hartfield bought $39 of the first day's sales of $53, according to the biography.

Reminds me of my dad, who in 1938 could not find a job, so he opened a car repair shop in a shabby rented wooden building.

My maternal uncle had the one big repair job that first month, probably about $40.

Dad went on to succeed as a small business man with a real cement structure and a clientle that much respected his ability and integrity.

RIP Irvine Robbins !

Weightwatchers of America say thank you as without your business idea their Business wouldn't exist.

Daquiri Ice.
Black Cherry.
Ahhhhhhh.
