When Katrina happened if I remember right it was the mayor of NO who was saying there would be 10,000 deaths and body bags would be needed ans so on. But the death toll I don't think was even close to his estimate. In spite of the shortcomings of the Bush Administration as well as state and local government, Katrina is nothing compared to this.

With the death toll being what it is and climbing, do you suppose that the dems should start demanding an immediate withdrawal from Burma and surrender it to the forces of nature?

The Military Dictators in Burma were warned by the India Government of the oncoming storm, they were warned 48 hours before the storm hit, including the track that it would take. Yet they did nothing to warn there people, what can these men be like???? Maybe 50,000 dead as many as 3,000,000 homeless, I don't know who these men pray to but they belong in HELL. An now they are making demands on the foreign aid that they are being offered, Mr. Bush this is where regime change would be apporiate! Not for Oil but just for humanity......
