Kinda depends on your car. A Corvette, Firebird, or Camero all get about 28 MPG at 1800 RPM which is somewhere around 80 to 85 mph.

Every car has a 'sweet spot' and it is at a different speed depending on HP and gearing.

Actually, it's just west of Kerrville, and then you're clean clear to about Fabens.

But from about Ozona west, don't speed. There's some stupid fucking border security initiative that causes DPS to send troopers from all over the state onto that stretch of Interstate (and 90 down south). They rotate in and out in two week shifts, and there's literally a black and white every 5 miles for 150 miles.

You'd better be DOT compliant, too.

I've never seen anything like this shit.

By the way, I've lived almost my entire life in both rural south and west Texas, and have never heard of "Edcouch".
