Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Three decades ago, an enterprising computer user sent an unsolicited advertisement across Arpanet, the precursor to the Internet. We've been eating "spam" ever since.

Calf's brain and liver?
Sounds like you're thinking of making a menudotini (grin)

Errr, I think I'll pass on that one, thanks.

OOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH that kind of spam.......
I was going to say that last week when I has some spam I think it was from the origianl batch....and that it was potted meat that looked like the garbage at a meat packing plant....
but this spam......this guy should be shot.....

Spam Turns 30

It doesn't look a day older than 25 I swear.

Now it'll start getting fat and will blame it on it's metabolism.

Someone finally found a way to turn a heart attack into a beverage.

I had 158 emails today celebrating the 30th anniv of SPAM. Imagine that.

You can get Span McMuffins in Hawaii. God Bless America!

I have to say that I don't get too much spam, I use:

www.mailwasher.net

and it works fairly well. This software actually let's you bounce email back and with a message saying something like "this email address does not exist".

Stupid-assed spammers don't have a chance if you use this and if everyone would use it, the spam problem would be reduced significantly.

Monty Python would be proud......

What happened to my spam? I was up to around 20-30 a day, which considering I don't give out my real email address, ever, was quite a bit. But for about two weeks now, nothing, nada. Not a single offaer for Viagra or French-language request for my bank account info so a lawyer in Nigeria can deposit 50million dollars under my name. Was there a crackdown recently?

I HOPE so!!!

I heard the electrical grid in Lagos was down, which may have crashed SpamBwanna, the mainframe used by the most ardent practitioners of the art.

Not to worry, though, a shipment of new, well-trained, highly-obedient, super bushbabies is said to be on its way.
