One of my favorite parts was during the immigration talk when she referred to him as a "demagogue" in such a charming way as to get away with it.

This is Hillary Clinton Unplugged, and why she is the better candidate.

"in such a charming way "

Hillary charming....
shudddder.....

Better candidate for what?

Only Elizabeth Edwards is more annoying than Hillary Clinton.

As far as the sanctuary cities, all the candidates suck on illegal immigration.

"Hillary Clinton Unplugged"

"Unhinged," maybe...

she was wearin black slacks as camoflauge against the dark colored chair she was sitting in.

you know,

cuz her ass and thighs are like, as big as a barn.

But I'd hit it, anyways.

Corky, if you think Bill wasn't trying to help her, you don't watch the Factor enough.

Come on Corky take your own advice. Credit where credit is due. Yes, HRC handled herself well but you have to admit O'Reilly is at his best when the guest is a heavy hitter, especially a Democrat or other major Leftie. Some of this past sparring with Mike Farrell, John Kerry, Chuck Schumer, Al Sharpton et al., is memorable.

It galls people to give O'Reilly any credit at all. The DailyKos people are furious at HRC, BHO and Howard Dean for even appearing on FNC. Never mind it gives them (the Dems) a huge viewing base where they can give their side of the story.

Come one - be Fair.

Everyone knows that Hillary and Rupert are pals and that she is his candidate.

"she was wearin black slacks as camoflauge against the dark colored chair she was sitting in. "

Quick, quick, someone go sniff that chair!

Snerg alert!

Mr Fair

I don't watch his show enough to have seen many other guests, but the thread comments (not mine)

"A grudging nod to Bill O'Reilly. Actually, no. Credit where it is due. It's not like other networks are going to mix it up with her like this, or that progressive blogs are going to be this "fair and balanced." Not going to happen. Too much knee jerk Hillary hatred, even if it hurts Democrats in the long run."

seem fair to him.

Anyone needing an example of "knee jerk Hillary hatred" from supposed Dems need look no further than this thread. Of course, they likely didn't watch the vid anyway.

I thought O'Reilly was just trying to keep up after the first few questions, and she never once backed down.

"Rich people---God bless us."
Hillary Clinton

On today's "state of the race" conference call, a reporter asked about an exchange between Hillary Clinton and Bill O'Reilly on yesterday's show in which Clinton uttered the words, "Rich people--God bless us."

Clinton spokesman Howard Wolfson denied that's what she said: "She said God blessed us.' B-L-E-S-S-E-D."

Why are liberals so angry about Dems going on Fox? I thought Liberals were all about engaging in dialogue with their enemies and sitting down them to talk. If JC can talk to Hamas, what is the big deal about other Dems going on Fox News? Are Liberals then againsta having a dialogue with Chavez, Castro, and Ahmadinejad? Well, they must be if they are having such a cow about Fox News.

I was surprised at the first debate that HRC was heads and shoulders above "the boys", but her slam dunk of Bill O' was almost as impressive.

Whatever happens in this Primary, she has impressed a lot of non-knee jerk Dems.

Phoenix

I know there is some "for fun" conservative backing of HRC out there, but also there are some Indies and even Repubs that have so much against McCain, for whatever arcane conservative reasons, and with Obama now seen as quite the Lefty, that some conservatives do seem to actually prefer a strong "moderate" (compared to Obama) Dem.

Not so very long ago, had anyone told us that the well-known Socialist Hillary Clinton would be winning Ohio and PA and Indiana with the support of Reagan Dems, they would have been laughed out of the room.

"she has impressed a lot of non-knee jerk Dems"

Knee jerk Dems?

And how about the the knee-jerk Dems who think Wright is on the ballot instead of Obama? Funny how the Clinton camp capitalizes on the knee jerk reaction of people againsts Obama's pastor and then complains about knee jerk dems who dislike Hillary, Typical Clinton hypocrisy, what else is to be expetcted?

Corky,

I didn't interpret Kristol's remarks as "for fun" conservative backing. Having watched him admit to some of the Bush Administration's failures on the Daily Show, I tend not to read him as a knee-jerk conservative.

And regardless of his intentions, he made a convincing case.

"Not so very long ago, had anyone told us that the well-known Socialist Hillary Clinton would be winning Ohio and PA and Indiana with the support of Reagan Dems, they would have been laughed out of the room."

Clinton has a done a wonderful job a making people believe she is the "conservative" of the two candidates. When you consider that the Clinton admin was so anti-gun for example, it baffles the mind to think that people would now be scared of Obama's gun positions. Hillary wants to take credit for stuff that happened in the Clinton Admin, what about taking credit for the anti-gun laws? How people believe this bullshit I don't know.

As an, "overfed, long-haired leaping gnome", Obama is rightly known by the friends he keeps.

Wright and Rezko, we must believe, are polar opposites of Obama in every possible way.

Uh-huh.

Yeah! Watch that knee jerk reaction when the names Rezko and Wright are mentioned!

Phoenix,

Agreed.

Well, if that nice Billy Crystal says it, it must be true.

Well, if that nice Billy Crystal says it, it must be true. -- Doc Sarvis

Hey Doc,

The author of the article was William Kristol, a prominent conservative (NYT op-ed columnist, founder of the Weekly Standard, son of Irving Kristol).

Not at all the same person as Billy Crystal, the actor.

QUESTION -- for anyone

Bill O'Reilly said on his show after showing his one on one interviews with Hillary that he just can't treat and/or handle doing an interview with a woman the same way he can when he is interviewing a man.

Do most of you agree with that statement? Just because Hillary is a female should O'Reilly have treated her any differently and/or come on less agressively (as O'Reilly said he did) than when he has one on one interviews with men?

Do any of you guys on here react differently when you're talking to woman in a strictly business situation (or at work, or whatever) than when you're talking to a another man in the same environment? Do you talk and act in a different manner if you are a boss and have to reprimand or correct a woman employee as opposed when you're doing the same to a male employee?

Just curious for other opinions.

CalifChris I am of the teaching that when talking to a Woman You must talk to them like You would Your Mother and GrandMother. If I so much as disrespected a Woman in My speech towards a woman I got My ass busted right then and there if My Mother or Grandmother was present. No matter how fucking vile and disgusting I find Hellary I would have to talk to Her differently than I would if I was talking to a Man. It goes back to how one was raised about how to treat a Woman.

Larry Mohr

PS You NEVER ever call My Grandma a bitch at least around earshot of Her. You wind up with a number 10 cast iron skillet across the back of one's head.

"Not at all the same person as Billy Crystal, the actor."

It was a satirical comment in the form of a post from "Non-Knee Jerk Dems," which, in itself, is a reference to an earlier contribution by another poster.

I am aware of the fact that comedian Billy Crystal is not a columnist for the New York Times, although why he isn't I don't know. He'd make a lot more sense that William "Bill to my Friends and Billy to my Buds" Kristol.

Thanks for the heads up.

Although now that you mention it, do you know anyone who's ever actually seen Billy Crystal and Billy Kristol in the same room at the same time?

"You wind up with a number 10 cast iron skillet across the back of one's head."

Which proves the claim. And consistent use of pronouns make one's English teacher happy. But I'll give you this, Larry, you can use the shift key.

Was your granny the lead in "Eating Raoul"?

(That one should have been on the list of 100 best movies.)

No Zat She just wouldn't put up with ANY shit from a Man. EVER.

The point is that Chavez, Castro and Amededpajamas are a hell of a lot more credible than Fox News!! And any one of the individuals named is a HELL of a lot more intelligent than all the talking heads at Fox put together. Even Iran's talking turd.

I think Hillary did a good job on the O'Really show, I'm not a supporter of Hillary so I think my post should legitimize Corky here (but only here)

err...let's work on this.

Being more credible than Fox News does not give you more credibility. If you aren't credible, that's all there is to it. There is no scale. You can't be sort-of credible anymore than you can be "sort of right" or "almost real". Either you are or you aren't.

Neither of the people named in your post has any credibility with me, and it doesn't have anything to do with how vocal they are about their criticism of America or Politics.

I have to say, Hillary is TOUGH AS NAILS, and Obama is a total pussy.

HIllary is really strong as a person compared to Obama.

If we are going to have a President thats a Democrat this time, Hillary would do much better than Obama.

Shes really tough.

Hillary really did good on FOX. Obama is a fool for not doing it first.

A freaking fool, and a tool. And a loser, and much more. he has no chance.

The Democrats SOLE HOPE is Hillary now. They are doomed otherwise.

Nobody appreciates outrage about Fixed News more than do I. I am the East Coast Distributor of Fixed News Outrage. But hasn't the most telling explanation about the surprisingly-yawny Billo interview struck anybody? She did it because it was serious free television time and if it costs much more than free, she can't afford it.

She was doing a freakin' info-mercial.

This appearance with an 8 PM host on a network whose 9 PM host still likes to insist she's a murderer, is a kind of political version of the story of the legendary gossip columnist Walter Winchell, for 30 years dominating newspapers, radio, television, even film, and acting gigs like voiceovers for "The Untouchables." One day the tv show was cancelled. Then the radio. Then the newspapers started dropping the column. And seemingly overnight, Winchell is standing on a street corner with a handful of his columns, which he has typed out himself and copied on a mimeograph machine, and he is giving them away to passersby.

And the desperation in this was not one way. The Mighty Favog of Fox billed this as his "World Exclusive." To repeat two observations from last night's televisioning, if you live in your own world as he does, this might be technically correct. Billo's "World Exclusive" with her came ten days after my "World Exclusive" with her and ten days after Larry King's "World Exclusive" with her and the same day as Cynthia McFadden's "World Exclusive" with her. I am half expecting to see my buddy Joel McHale do a "World Exclusive" with her on E!'s The Soup.

it's funny to watch an interview with two people that i am not in any way fond of and still walk away ok with the entire thing.

a nod to the two.

i will now start spreading rumors about bill-o, hillary, fillafel and a weekend in the poconos.
yeah... visualize that!

all the best.

"Visualize that!"
I'd rather not. Of course, some staff employee at their Poconos hotel will manage to hide a videocam in their room and we'll all end up seeing their romp on youtube.
