Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Barack Obama refused Saturday to go along with other Democrats who are calling for Hillary Rodham Clinton to step away from the race for the Democratic presidential nomination. "My attitude is Senator Clinton can run as long as she wants," Obama said.

Got it... BO is just trying to make the super delegates feel important...if HC gets out they are not needed...brilliant

it just means his "team" is not done allowing her to humiliate herself further...

As the dem slugfest rolls on it is becoming increasingly clear that the leadership of the Democratic party is becoming fed up with Hillary's stubborn refusal to admit the obvious: she can not win the nomination of her party. Anybody can see this even with both eyes closed.

But this is a good thing. Hillary's refusal to acknowledge that it's over only further alienates her from any dem support at high levels. It further cast her as a selfish candidate who feels that the presidency is her entitlement and she will leave a trail of bodies in her wake to get it. Even if it means destroying any chance for a democratic winner this fall. If she can't have it, neither can Barack Obama.

The more she alienates the dem leadership the less chance she stands of getting any support of the Superdelegates now or for any future presidential runs.

It's over St. Hillary. I guess the country doesn't need you as much as you led yourself to believe we do.

Oh my! What ever will we do without Hillary!? Oh, I don't know ... breathe easier? Yeah, that's the ticket!

As Obama takes the high road, playing it cool, he stands in marked contrast to Clinton, who continues to rant and rave, hoping against logic that her "Wag the Dog," four-Pinocchio lies about "experience" dodging snipers' bullets will just somehow go away. On the whole, he's looking classy and she's looking declasse.

She is a lying POS but hey, it worked for Bill.

Very statesman-like of the next President of the United States.

Once again, if she's eight holes behind with seven to play, she should be allowed to finish, but there's too much at stake to permit more internecine blood-letting. Hillary should be retired with honor - as VP of justice or secretary of something. herm

FF LOL

We have seen the Red, the Yellow and the Green pantsuit jacket.

Blue, Orange and Purple to go.

(Or has she hocked them?)

Nice of Barry to give her permission.

Give someone enough rope and they will hang themself and this is what Barack is doing to Hillary. In the end Barack will tell Hillary to take what she wants in Florida and Michigan but it will still not be enough and then she will really look foolish. She has burned her bridges along the way and when she loses what does she do then. Is it really possible to go back to the senate when she has alienated just about everyone. If Barack loses in GE she will most assuredly be blamed for it. The wise thing for her to do is bow out now and try to salvage whatever is left of her reputation.

She is a lying POS but hey, it worked for Bill.

so what you are saying then is that when clinton ran only stupid moronic assholes voted for him?
hhhhmm

HEY leftys...NOW I know where you got this charge about US from.

Huckabee stayed on to the bitter end, literally, when he was finally mathematically eliminated. And he had far less of a case to continue as long as he did than Hillary has now.

But he was mocked far less for his stubborness to quit than Hillary is now. So why is that?

I think he was cut more slack because he acted as far more gracious of an underdog. I say campaign as a whole, because it's clear that Hillary has less contol over her campaign, most especially her hubby, than the Obama Team.

Hillary used Bill and his political machine WAY too much--she should have distanced herself from Slick Willy from Day #1, and the result of this miscalculation was fatal. Well if you can't run a proper campaign, you certainly can't run a superpower, can you?.

HEY leftys...NOW I know where you got this charge about US from.

time for your next beer yet?

no but I would like to ask a question

hey mister barry hussein obama.
how are you going to explain away the next issue coming at you hopefully as early as tomorrow.

here is a report on some of obamas romantic rhetoric about his background.
in his own words he owed his "very existence" to the generosity of the kennedy family...and camelot helped this new age savior of our republic when the kennedys paid for his dad to travel to america on a scholarship where he met his mother from kansas.
oh DAMN......lets make a movie out of that.
BUT WAIT A FRICKIN MINUTE. BECAUSE ITS A FRICKIN LIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the kennedys paid for an airlift in 1960. and thats really good. the only problem is barry wayne's dad was on the airlift A FULL YEAR EARLIER.
but hey, dont let little facts like that get in the way of you leading us all down the yellow brick road.

BLT wouldn't know a fact even it bit Him on the hiney and called it shiney.

Why shouldn't he let her keep running? The more she runs, the worse she does:

Sen. Hillary Clinton's argument for the Democratic presidential nomination includes a pitch that she can win the big states that Democrats need in November to amass at least 270 Electoral votes.

Yet a new poll in the biggest of all states California shows Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois stronger than Clinton among likely voters there with Obama favored by 9 percentage points over Republican Sen. John McCain.

If the election were held today, California's likely voters would favor Obama over McCain by 49 to 40 percent, according to the survey. A Clinton-McCain match-up is a virtual tie: 46 percent Clinton, 43 percent McCain.

Six in 10 likely voters (61 percent) say they have a favorable opinion of Obama. Nearly half have a favorable view of McCain (49 percent) and fewer say so about Clinton (45 percent.)

Most Democrats have a positive impression of Obama (78 percent) and Clinton (74 percent), the institute reports, and most Republicans have a favorable opinion of McCain (75 percent).
Among independent voters, more hold a favorable view of Obama (57 percent) than of McCain (47 percent) or of Clinton (35 percent).

Hillary can keep running herself into the ground as far as Spud is concerned. After Obama has been "vetted" by the ClintCo machine by her lasp gasp efforts then McTaint won't have any mud left to throw at the guy.

If McNuts thinks that all his skeletons are safely tucked away he's got another think coming.

This is all working out perfectly.

Sweet!

Be Well.

that's kind of an interesting way to start off your question. Interesting to me at least because I always thought republicans were better than this. I remember the days of Gingrich, the contract with america (restoring honor and confidence to confidence) and then the election of Bush in 2000 (bringing back dignity and respect to the whitehouse, after 8 long years of scandalous clinton dick sucking)

but now you're acting like an 8 year old by saying "barry hussein obama." I figured conservatives & republicans held themselves to a higher standard compared to the clintonistas and their gutter politics.

Kind of sad to watch I guess.. am I afraid of you repeating those words "barry" and "hussein" (as if that will impact his credibility somehow and make people scared?) Not really. Voters are a lot smarter than that and see through that kind of rhetoric... it just disheartens me that you would sink to such utterly childish tactics.

Nice post, Audrey. If you repeat it every time you see Hussein between now and November (and probably afterward) you are a sure bet for carpal tunnel syndrome. herm

..uh no offense blt, but you are talking about the easiest (dullest) mark in all of blog world. He desperately demanded my address the other day when he didn't agree with something I posted. Little does he know.........

P.S. to Audrey and Herm....don't keep saying barry and hussein. You know because we never see RepubliCUNTS and Jeff Gannon and shit like on the DR.

yeah....good one ride. its really pretty simple and easy to deal with liberals. all you have to do is put a mirror up to their political face and all you get back is denials and insults and all that. the easy part is that they can dish it out but cant take it and when you do give it back to them, well its like I have said before. when we on the right HAVE THE GALL To even question them, well its a sign that we are just moronic country rubes who have to have libs and the NANNY GOVERNMENT they are after to tell us just what to do and what we can have.
and the barry and hussein comments, from me anyway, or meant to show just that.....that the left feels like they are entitled to say anything or call anyone anything and then howl with indignation when it comes back at them
ANNOUNCEMENT TO MY LIBERAL BROS HERE ON THE RETORT>

the land of chronkite is no more. where we bent over in front of the liberal alter and got it in the wazoo and then asked if we could please have another...those days are long gone....

we're here
we're sincere
so get used to it

my apologies to the gay liberators for borrowing their phrase....I thought it was pretty clever.

and oh yeah....its no great surprise that NONE of you commented about my post and the LIE from the obama campaign about the origins of his family in america. so its now okay to just make up shit about how your father met your mother and how he got to america just because it makes a feel good campaign slogan..how the two families have this mystic connection.
and the real question here is what other lies will we find?
and listening to him on msnbc last night, he has nothing but a long list of socialist programs all set for america. buyer beware.

So, Hill has Obama's generous permission to continue?

That's mighty white of him.

Obama: Clinton Welcome to Keep Running

This is a good strategy. Hillary does best when she is perceived as a victim, so calls for her to drop out may have actually helped her. This way she just runs out of money and goes away quietly.

She's already running in the red. And she is lagging in the pols, the popular vote and delegates. Soon to be lagging in the super delegates. I think most people are seeing through her and her campaigns tactics.

Who cares, JM will be prez....... Get use to it.

Based on republican's penchant for getting things wrong, I'd believe he'd have more of a chance if you didn't.

things wrong....are you referring to the last two elections or the three in a row before clinton and then of course there is the two or so before that..
but I am sure you arent talking bout elections since they are all rigged anyway...right?
well unless A dem wins and then ....well shit son, everythings all right......

"....are you referring to the last two elections"

Posted by an illiterate who masquerades as a teacher

You mean one of those last two where the Democrat got more popular votes than the Republican?

How's U.S. Representative Sekula-Gibbs doing?

Hans

well I see that once again you have cut down one of the many posts that you have hanging on the wall of your one room flat. so if I asked your neighbors would they say the old.....well gee, he just sort of stayed to himslef, we didnt know he was a stalker.

Im talking about the constitution of the US...thats the document that you and your ilk would just love to change and throw out the window when it comes to the founders totally unique idea of an electoral system. and then of course you turn around and LIE your ass off about the president throwing it away.
and you can whine and whine all you want. face it...dems have won only the last 3 out of 10 elections and thats not an accident.

"Im talking about the constitution of the US...thats the document that you and your ilk would just love to change and throw out the window ..."

Oops:

"Stop throwing the Constitution in my face," Bush screamed back. "It's just a goddamned piece of paper!"
Hans

and so you must believe that in the first place??
and so why then are dems always bringing up a change to the document which works like a charm in every regard....but NOT WHEN IT DOESNT suit you....
and also you just happen to forget that we got BLOWJOB BILLY the same friggin way..
didnt clinton get EVEN LESS of the popular vote than bush did??????? but I understand why you would forget that little inconvienent fact.

and thats enough of screwing around with the likes of you. I have more important things to do, like backwash my waterpick

"didnt clinton get EVEN LESS of the popular vote than bush did???????"

George H.W. Bush? In 1992?

No.

Hans

"didnt clinton get EVEN LESS of the popular vote than bush did???????"

But I suspect that an illiterate who masquerades as a teacher would not know that.

Hans

what the fuck are you talking about. I was talking about bush in 00 and 04. why are you bringing up the old man?
oh yeah...it allows you to avoid the fact.

"what the fuck are you talking about. I was talking about bush in 00 and 04. why are you bringing up the old man?"

"didnt clinton get EVEN LESS of the popular vote than bush did???????"
The only time a Clinton ran against a Bush was in 1992, when Bill Clinton ran against George H.W. Bush.

But I suspect that an illiterate who masquerades as a teacher would not know that.

Hans

Mike Huckabee was more of a realist, and a gentleman. He was not a dirty politician like HRC and I respect him. He has a fantastic political future. HRC should drop out now while she has some face left. Most of the nations people and press know her to be a dirty politician. We don't need another one......

But I suspect that an illiterate who masquerades as a teacher would not know that.

Hans

god damn it hans....I wont allow you to take something I said and twist it into something you think is some kind of cool shit. you know good and well exactly what I was referring to and in your demented liberal mind you come up with me saying that W and clinton RAN against each other. what the fuck are you smoking?
but I really dont have to say anything else. anyone with half a brain can see that you are just grasping at straws in order to come up with some kind of bullshit that obviously gives you a hardon.
get a fuckin life AND a clue.

but one final comment.

so you are saying that I actually think that clinton and W ran against each other in a presidential campaign.
what a freakin loser you are to have to resort to this kind of made up nonsense. surely you have at least SOME ability to come up with something thats at least partially true. but then again, maybe not.

"didnt clinton get EVEN LESS of the popular vote than bush did???????"

EXACTLY.....and what part dont you understand. you CAN talk about two seperate elections you know and even compare them with each other. maybe you can get some help with that and surely you 'get it'...well most people can..maybe you cant.
and as in the other case of nonsense. I have wasted way too much energy and time on the likes of you.
