Chris Dodd opines that after the primaries on May 6 that the "party elders" should get together and back the likely nominee at that time. In his opinion that person is Barack Obama.

It's only because after eight years of Dimwit and Darth the Republicans are so weak that Clinton still thinks that she can pull off a miracle, tear the Democrats apart, get the nomination and still win.

Wrong.

That's the only way the Republicans can win, not her.

"Every vote must count! Count every vote! Raaaawwwwk!!"

Every vote SHOULD be counted. At some point, though - about the time you can't win - you should throw in the towel.

However, I understand how the idea of counting votes disturbs Republicans. Kind of goes against everything you believe and all.

Didn't you get Hillary's memo, Docta G?

States which Obama wins are not RELEVANT, they are fly-over states that "don't matter"

Obama is ahead of Hillary in NC by 21 points according to TPM so....

Be Well.

Argh, are you seriously categorizing me as a wild-eyed fright-winger?

Dodd is being "gracious" in letting the other Senators and senior democrats know that Obama is going to win, and giving Hillary a gentle shove in the direction of stopping after North Carolina.

But only if Bill goes along will this work on Hillary's iron-clad mind and pantsuit. She is so far deaf to reason and has enough Carvilles and Wolfsons around to make her believe she can win if she goes on and on and on, to echo M Thatcher.

Bill now knows she can't, but it is breaking his "contract" with her to say so. But then he has done that before. All he has to do is get her to believe it's a vast right-wing conspiracy that says Obama is the nominee.

(When the opposite is of course the case)

When a dog is cornered it jumps up and down and flays from right to left and moves back and forth and up and down. This represents the behavior of Hilary Clinton and her surrogts I have seen on the Clinton News Network (CNN) lately. James Carville althought not with the Clinton campaign is a big supporter of Clinton made that outlandish remark about Judas and Bill Richardson, Bill Clinton made another stupid remark when he said "wouldnt it it be nice if we had two candidates who loved this country and didnt have all this other stuff around them" eluding to Hilary and John McCain, questioning Barak Obama's patriotism which then sparked the Obama's supporter's comparing Bill Clinton to Joe McCarthy. It seems every day the Clinton campaign puts something out there trying to lessen Obama character or ability. Late today an email went out two thousands againbringing up the fact Obama may be a Muslim which of coarse is not true. There is a great deal of anti-muslim sentiment in this country since 9-11, just a fact and Billary is fanning the flames. She has started the fire to burn down the village. Remember how the wicked whitch died, it has started. The only way Hilary can win is if her Billionair friends steal the convention in some way. Step up Howard Dean.

Hey, what is Obama's lead in PA??..funny you don't mention that one....

Well, to take a line out of the Clinton camp

"PA doesn't matter". There, just take my word on it, lol.

On a side note, have you seen Hillary lately? She looks dead tired, this must be really hard on her. How can she handle being pres if she can't handle this?

And Obama's tough as nails?

"Come on! I just answered, like, eight questions," Obama, looking surprised, told shouting reporters as he fled the room.

I guess we'll have to watch how many questions we ask of a president Obama.

I don't know, is 8 questions less than typical? Or is this some circumstance take out of context and twisted around by the media and haters? I suspect the latter on something like this. Perhaps I should bother researching.

Always is, no matter what. (as long as we're talking about dear Obama)

Ya, they only want to count each vote once. The dems want to count them as many times as it takes for them to win.

But somehow he doesn't look like he's dead, and he's still ahead.
