And again: the question was framed quite well and had it been answered honestly, could have helped Sen Clinton. But no, Miss Clinton just dug in her heels and made her family look even worse.

I understand why Chelsea answered the question the way she did, but in the long run that kind of answer won't work. If Hillary wins the nom, the Clintons will no doubt be asked some version of the question again--unless they are going to have folks sign loyalty oaths before attending one of her campaign rallies. Again, I don't blame Chelsea, but she lost an opportunity to garner sympathy for her mother by answering the way she did. She could have talked about the inner strength her mother needed to get through such a difficult time, how hard the family worked to overcome the crisis.
